We are still light for both full back positions imo. Rose isn't ours, yet, and bardo isn't really fully fit.

Injuries to either mean we are filling in from other areas.

We need 2 full backs for sure.

 

Cissoko from Lyon would be a great left-back in my opinion and has been linked with Newcastle in the past, not sure on his current ability/situation but a few years ago I remember seeing him in the CL and thinking what a beast!

Right back is an issue but it can wait until the summer but no harm in scouting about now.

CB will be a concern with Brown crocked and possibly finished, O'shea aging, Bramble & Killa out of contract in the summer and Mangane only on loan with his abilities unknown as of yet.

I may be alone with this but JOS is our best central defender by a country mile for me and is one of my contenders for player of the season so far. Been very consistent and when he isnt there he is extremely missed. I hope we can get at least another 2 seasons from him personally.

 

Yeah Cest I do agree with you but as the months go by he is going to be missing more games than playing but on his day hes done very well for us.

I think we will go for Dawson in the summer and lets see how Mangane style does.

 

You're not alone mate, the only time we really look solid at the back is when JOS plays, he's been a rock mall season when fit and holds the whole back line together.
