GD can make the difference between staying up and going down so a massive two points can make a shedload of difference.

Scrapping over some French div that's not had any form about him for months.

I watch a lot of French footy, one thing that made me laugh was Harry Redknapp's quote of "He's the closest thing to Thierry Henry that I've ever seen"...where do I start?

Harry, you're a ****ing idiot at the best of times but you don't do yourself any favours.

Don't worry yourselves about little Loic, if I had to liken him to somebody I've watched extensively in the past I'd say it would be a cross between Ryan Babel and Sylvain Wiltord. There's much more talent out there, maybe he wasn't a bad buy for £8m but he's no Demba Ba replacement, not by a long shot. Redknapp obviously believes he's something that he certainly is not, let him get on with it.

My mate who supports NUFC said he wouldn't take Danny Graham from Swansea, I guarantee he'd take him on 1st Feb if you sign no strikers though. The guy seems desperate to play for you and he can score goals in this division, he's no RVP but that's not what you need in a relegation scrap, he's perfect for you for your season objectives.

I agree with allot of what you say here. Although I can't say I've seen allot of Remy (if any), I don't think he's an out and out goal scorer. We could use a decent winger, but the main priority is a striker and I have to say Danny Graham could be a decent signing for us. Like you said, he'd bust a gut to play for NUFC and the reality of our current plight is, we're not really in a position to go around turning our nose up at proven PL strikers. I know allot of Toon fans would feel distinctly underwhelmed by the signing of Graham. But as you said. Come first of Feb, if it's choice of him or nothing, I'm pretty sure we'd all tear your (someones) arm off for him.

I'd take Graham. He's better than what we have as 2nd or 3rd choice striker, and I think would fit into the first 11 pretty well. Unfortunately Swansea are in a fantastic position, and I can't see why selling would be advantageous to them, except in the case Martin overspends on British talent again...

Well that's what we will end up going with or worse so let's prey we can scrape through. The annoying thing is we won't bother to build in the summer it is my opinion it will be wholesale changes again and it won't work out everytime in fact one day it will go so wrong it'll be curtains so if I'm honest I don't care if we get relegated because at some stage it will and hopefully Ashely will leave sell up. I'll never be happy till he is gone simple as that. Last season had everyone licking his ringpiece but it was only one season and how long has the guy been here? this season is what its generally like and always will be.

It amaxed me the fact one good season and everyone forgot the man and our chairman are a pair of lieing bastards and they cant ever believe just how horrible they are.

Not trying to rub it in lads but I dont think this deal is down to the money.
I think its because QPR are well placed in London, Heathrow just down the road always helps.
If QPR go down he will move on though for sure

Nothing to do with anything other than money - he would n't even speak with QPR until he was advised about the coin.

Anyway piss off we don't care anymore we have other targets and are talking sandwiches.

This guy will hopefully turn out like the last arsehole Gervinho that did this to us.

    Remy is yesterdays news

I know but come on mate to come on here suggesting he moved to QPR because of an airport is annoying! also it always amazes me that people down south assume everyone loves London!! I've lived there and I personally prefer Northumerland for it's beauty and peacefulness but hey not everyone is the same.

Hahahaha yes, that's it the airport!

I'm sure he was just about to put pen to paper then Willie McKay whispered in his ear "Tony Fernandez has just been on the blower, apparently, keep this to yourself right...but (McKay looks around over his shoulder) word on the street is, there's an airport near Loftu......where's he gone...Loic....Loic mate".

I'll have it that M'Bia might be his best mate, or he dreamt of playing alongside Tablerat or whatever his name is, but that is NOT a reason to move!

So he went for the cash, I can't see why some people have a problem with this. Unless you are one the Europes biggest clubs (Man U, Barca, etc) all moves are about money. They've supposedly doubled what we offered, he'd be a plank to do otherwise. If he is a mercenary then so are 95% of footballers. They don't care how many fans they play in front of, what colour shirt they wear etc. They want money, just like the rest of us in our occupations!
