Great effort Danish and a lovely 4/1 SP in the end. Well done mate <applause>

I have to have a small interest on Welsh Bard at Lingfield simply because it will come on for the run, has Jason Maguires assistance, and might be able to dominate a very small field from the front, around a tight Lingfield NH track. Sash Of Honour has all the potential of course. Welsh Bard being an ex -Prescott horse as well means it is usually primed for a fight from front-runnin tactics.

Is the ‘Clerk of the Course’ at Newbury trying to build up his part or what?!? He’s trying to turn whether or not racing will take place tomorrow to be the biggest cliffhanger since last night’s ‘Coronation Street’!

Mother Nature tighting her grip by the looks of things, people, with cards now off tomorrow and Thursday and as a result a ‘Bumpers for Jumpers’ card added on Thursday.

One for the notebook in that race lads. Schooling session for FULL OF JOY. McCoy never even got it involved. Was all about rebuilding confidence after fall last time.

I sense a good old fashioned Jonjo fiddle may be on the way!

Aye, the weather is going to take a grip and I fear for my trip to Taunton on Saturday. Ah, I will stay in and watch some AW (unless that gets frozen off too).

    Orange Nassau at Lingfield <ok>

Chase form in France so will cope with conditions. Obviously jumping will be important against the Odds on fav.

What are the prospects for Ascot and Hadock this Satruday weather-wise? Some top, top action on those cards.

Someone help please, my mind has gone, I'm looking at the form of summerinthecity against Silverware through their respective performances against Azrael. Silverware beat Azrael by 1.25 lengths where Azrael was running off 72 with a 7lb claimer. Summerinthecity finishing 0.5 lengths infront of Azrael where Azrael was running again off 72, but this time no claimer. In summary, Silverware beat Azrael 1.25 lengths with Azrael effectively running off 65, Summerinthecity beat Azrael 0.5 lengths with Azrael running off 72. The stronger form purely in terms of weight vs distances is Summerinthecity, right?

Nice ride from the champ on The Bear Trap.

He had a lot of horse under him but very confident exaggerated waiting ride on that ground.

I think I've worked this out, and I think the better form is from Silverware. Silverware was carrying 10lbs more when beating Azrael. Whereas Summerinthecity was carrying just 1lbs more when beating him a shorter distance.

That finish looked a very odd ride from Thornton on the second Joe. I thought it looked like an amateur riding it. I guess his saddle could have slipped forward but appeared to be riding in a very odd position and despite the horse gaining at the line and drifting refused to use the whip. If I had backed it I would hope for an explanation.

Was there a rule 4 on that double dash race? I had £40 on at 9/4 last night but only returned £107.50 rather than the £130 it should have done...

either victor or 365 went 9/2 yesterday at half 4!!

time I got round to the race it was already 9/4, there was plenty of 10/3 and 11/4 about aswell

trader that went 9/2 could be in for a sacking
