Scary Wubba, my kids got me a flat cap too. I'm told it puts 15 years on me the instant it touches my head. The Yanks like it though, and of course I wear it in an ironic way.
Suggest if Harry gets stick from the Baggie fans, our fans take up the Harry Enfield mantra: "We have more mooney than yow!"
No one should not care what we do unless Hughes was in charge. Want a win and no injuries. Wonder if Olssen and Odemwinge will play?
Do the Benny from Crossroads mugs with a weakened team and send out a chilling message to all the other mediocre clubs..
We must be due a dodgy pen or an undeserved sending off in our favour against them after our last few games against them. Especially as they let Reading win on Saturday
Totally agree with your sentiment mate, in a strange way I miss the NCP, I miss being able to go for a piss AND get a beer at half time, I miss having blind faith in players like Nardielo & Cureton( spelling) but I understand this is where we need to be.
I haven't lost interest in the cup as a competition but really struggle with this. I watched the 4th round draw and it was like an acquaintance talking about a caravan tour of disused quarries - seemed irrelevant and nothing to do with me. I suppose it just means I think we have more chance of beating United in the league than going on a cup run.
It was a new paragraph. Should have made it clearer. What i was saying is i do like the Prem (as you get all info/media/tv) but i do miss the Plymouths/Bristol/Pompey/ .........and all the games up north because i felt a bit closer to the club. I can't explain it but some will understand me.
This is a difficult one for me, much like the rest of you. I would love a convincing win at WBA (I went there a couple of seasons ago and we should have tonked them), but survival is paramount. Give some of the benchwarmers and the kids a run out I reckon.
Its going to be a great match Snow, ice, a hot bovril, riled home fans, jumpers for goalposts etc etc. Could even be a 2 pie match for me
Well said Ellers. As fun and exciting as the potential big name signings are, and playing top Premier clubs is, there is something in me which misses waking up on a Saturday and thinking, 'yeah...why not drive to Barnsley today...' Well...these days I more miss living in the same country as my beloved football team...but one step at a time!
