I'm talking about myself in the main Stick!! I'm terrible for it, though I backed Sprinter at Cheltenham last year. I then got burnt with Hurricane Fly straight after
As for Pricewise and his so called genius, is he really much different from ROTO, yourself, and the rest of us? How did he get on last year with his Cheltenham tips? I cant recall many successes from Pricewise at all, especially antepost.
Morning, to the forum congregation. If asked to describe today’s racing in 3 words then I would say ‘modest and mediocre’ and for that reason the ‘no bet’ banner is fluttering in the breeze. Tomorrow’s card at Newbury though, should it defy Mother Nature, looks much better though with a couple of ‘likelies’ already identified. Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink. Say no more. I’m not one of these people who latches onto Pricewise’s selections but must say he certainly ‘moves markets’ and is an excellent writer to boot. A rare combination these days. Old boy Segal certainly gets the thumbs up from me.
I dont dislike him to be fair. He adds some great discussion, especially at the preview evenings. But the myth around him and the market moving, Im not into. He is quite good, but then again so are others.
Two for me today and both are for Kim Bailey. Argentia in the first at Lingfield 11/4 Lord Tomnoddy in the 2.10 at Ffos Las 11/10 And a double to boot.
I see that the Pipe’s have taken charge of the ex-Mr O’Brien and ex-old boy Gosden horse Flying Cross. They are talking about a debut run over hurdles and then possibly the old Champion Hurdle! What are those old rogues up to now, me wonders?!?
Good morning all on this crisp and frosty day... Just one more before i shoot off for a while... Chookie Avon @ Wolvers in the 4.30, currently a 12/1 shot, i think has a good chance... Just a little e/w bet...
Lost their marbles Sir Barney. Hurdles debut in a Champion Hurdle? never heard anything so ridiculous. Wasn't so long ago that we were all looking forward to Dandino running over hurdles, and look what happened there. John Ferguson landing Class 6 novice hurdles at Fontwell with regally-bred flat horses is a world away from winning a Champion Hurdle.
Ambitious plan alright.I suppose he still has flat and stud options if this venture fails. He's still an entire. Not sure how many of these have won the CH recently...remember Alderbrook and Monksfield off the top of my head...anyone remember any others?
The Josh Moore Gary Moore combo to strike in the opener at Lingfield. Then AP McCoy switching to the Jonjo debutant leaving us a tasty 10/3 on Bob Ford who will appreciate this distance over hurdles and Tom Scudamore has a 30% strike rate over the last 12 months when teaming up with Rebecca Curtis, who does well at this track of course.
Have never put one up before but after consultation we feel that Bob Ford 1.10 Ffos Las will appreciate the step up to 2M 6F and as long as he settles, he wins. My Stickwise and ROTO profits are on this one!!
So after the win from Mubtadi yesterday, those on with Bet365 will qualify for the 4/1+ offers today. The first race is the 16:30 at Wolves and looks a bit of a trickey one to unravel, none the less we have free bets, so with no less than 8 CD winners on show and 2 other winners at todays distance, where is the pin going to drop? I like the look of Silverware up just 3lb for his 1 and 1/4 length victory over C and D last time out. I also like the look of Summerofthecity who is having just his 5th start for David Nicholls, but has been getting closer in each of them. He looks set to take advantage of his lowest mark yet.
Not technically a double but did have the majority of the Moore combo winnings on Bob Ford, so safe to say absolutely delighted. Nice to find something like that on your day off! Cheers lads Nicer result than the 3 horses that I mentioned in the same race yesterday
