Translation: I favour the salary the Rs are offering over Toon.

Don't believe anything that W**ker says. Sour grapes that he's not wearing the Hoops.

Remy and M'villa could be quite a couple of deals. The board are certainly looking like they plan to gamble more money in order to try to stay up.

But Remy said he wasn't coming....basically that means...you cannot trust a word anyone says at this point in time. Wake me up as the ink is drying on the contracts

Might just be Barton being a wind up merchant - then again, be unlike him to seek a bit of attention from the masses...

I'm inclined to believe the Tweets. For what it's worth he's tagged TF. Would wet myself if we manage to pull it off.

Why mate ?? Hypothetically if he signed and had a get out clause that IF we go down then he could be sold on for what we paid for him (maybe even a touch less) then what have we lost ?
Wages could soon be made up by selling Cisse/Boswingwa and another few.

I know that sounds very simplistic so if that wouldn't be a go can someone explain to me why

It was Gordon Gekko in Wall Street that said,"a fool and his money were lucky to get together in the first place."

We arent screwed if we go down......they will surely have relegation get out clauses...if not, then having players like that in the Championship should equal a quick return.

I trust them and Harry whole heartedly!

I think the board have seen the improvement under Harry and have now decided to risk more of their money for the huge rewards that we will reap if pull off the great escape.

Unbelievably this was actually posted by a NUFC fan on the above thread-

    'Unfortunately the truth.
The sooner Harry passes away the better'

I know they dont like Harry but thats taking things too far.
