Anybody know if the likes of mr tiote,mr T and the joker have Left not 606
They knew the score and they disliked the board as much as I do

2010TOPS, are you Katmandu, his brother, his girlfriend, all three, or nothing to do with him? Just asking because you seem a bit obsessed with each other and tend to write in a similar style...

But while we're on the subject of lost posters, there are some who I remember fondly and disappeared. Only1KK used to be one of my favourites on old 606, but he went off there (believe he had poor health) and hasn't turned up since, while some of the regular-ish people on here haven't been on in a while. There's also the classics who left for the other forum, as well who are enjoying it over there, so good luck to them

Still, we've got a strong community spirit and, I think, enough talent and a fun atmosphere on here to be inviting for potential Toon newbians and posters from other boards, which is sorely lacking on some parts of the forum. I think there's probably a small group from the collective who probably drive our board (in a good way), but it's not isolating or clique-dependent like most internet boards become.

On old 606 who were the two who always argued? I think one was Something like Toon4Europe.

 

I used to like old Wizard Toon and his signature.

 

That was one of them the other would get hammered and loss the plot

 

Yeah, good poster! Kind of a floater sort, he'd wade in during an argument and land you with some knowledge in a polite and gentle way before leaving, but had good craic too. Wonder if he's on the other forum...

Toon4Europe vs Tash wasn't it? I can't remember what Tash's name was (or if he was actually Toon4Europe... Or was Heavy Metal Toon his first name?). I remember people (me ) would take the mick and say they were dating...

But (most of us) are all grown-up now though! I still remember my favourite ever Mackem exchange though, and I believe it was with Cest. It involved me insinuating that I had slept with his sister (naturally), him saying his sister was 8, me saying "crikey, that's getting on in dog years", then him angrily confessing his sister wasn't really 8 but about 45 (at which point I asked for her phone number and he stopped replying)... Every single one of those comments were sent back to my e-mail as they'd been "moderated" and removed I'd like to think I'm more mature now

 

I think Tash may well have been Heavy Metal Toon in those days, but I'm thinking of a poster from just before him who used to regularly wind people up and have ding dongs with T4E. Just can't remember his username.
