    I am more ashamed of our 'fans' than I am of the team's performance last night. The things I have been reading is shocking.

    Steve Bruce wins Manager of the Month and we have a bad performance and people call for him to be sacked?

    Eldin Jakupovic has one bad game after many brilliant performances and people call for him to not only be replaced in the team but to have his contract ended.

    I knew we had some fickle fans but after reading the **** on this page I've just realised 90% of our 'fans' are ****ing brain dead.

    Bruce doesn't need sacking and Eldin doesn't need replacing. After last night's performance using that theory, the entire team need replacing. It's a team game. Our back 3 are our first line of defence and they was socking. They gave Eldin too much to do all night.

    Either get back to reality or ****off calling yourselfs City fans. It's not just about cheering when you win, it's taking the bad and the good.

    Anyone calling last night the worst performance they have ever seen was clearly Est 2008. There has been many worse performances over the years by many City sides.

    First off, who's calling for Bruce to be sacked? I aren't. I will say, however, that as much as I like the guy's 'plan A', which is wonderful to watch when it comes off, he doesn't have a 'plan B'. What was with all the hoofball yesterday?

    Also, his 'plan A' comes off only half as often as it should because it relies on having at least one forward on the pitch, and last night we played with ZERO. Koren is a central-midfielder and this showed as he repeatedly dropped far too deep. Aluko is a winger, and repeatedly wandered out to the wing where he really belongs.

    I've been saying for weeks that Jakupovic needs replacing because he has butterfingers. He reminds me of Kasper Schmeichel - a world class save is nearly always followed by a monumental ****-up. Nearly every time he's tested by a shot from outside of the box he fumbles it, and it was only a matter of time before he cost us a goal. His decision-making in terms of punching the ball is also pretty bizarre.

    Why has Steve Bruce chosen two loanees, one an inexperienced 22 year old an the other who was exceedingly rusty through a lack of games, ahead of Jakupovic?

    i agree with a lot of what you have said, but as ive said on other threads jak has dropped one like that in nearly every game, its just usually he gets away with it..
    i agree he shouldnt be hanged or shot, but it just highlighted what most already knew that promotion will only come with a stronger number 1 keeper..
    and who are these people that are claiming bruce should be sacked? i havent seen anybody go that far, but yes if they have..****ing brain dead is a good description.

    Good post.

    It was embarrassing to watch the lightweights scuttle out before the end.

    Visiting fans quite rightly queried if there was a fire drill.

    If you were one of those turds who sidled out, hang your head in shame. Man up and don't abandon ship when the waters get choppy because that's what ****s do.

    I walked out soon as simmo missed that penalty. I also had to calm the **** down, because the language that was coming out of my mouth was terrible. I just want to say sorry to the family that sit behind me, I'm really sorry.

    Read around on enough of these topics and you'll see many people calling for him to be sacked which is just mental!

    The hoofball is an English football thing. There are plenty of teams like us who are small and like to keep everything on the deck but hardly anyone manages to cut out the hopeful punts forward completely. Thing is they come to nothing 100% of the time with us because we haven't got a player who can win a header so we really nedd to find some way of avoiding any long balls as much as we can.

    As for Jakupovic the 'world-class' saves he keeps getting credit for have generally been quite simple saves which he makes a massive meal out of. He turns every save into a big diving punch instead of just smothering the easy ones.

    Amd FFS can we drop all this crap about people saying Bruce should be sacked? There are far more people talking about others saying it than people saying it! Bullshit Man is the only person I've seen say it and anyone whose seen his posts for a while knows he ****ing hates losing like we all do and just gets pissed off by it.

    I don't get why so many people are so bothered about negative posts on a messageboard after a defeat. What the **** do people come on here for, just constant positivity? We have one poster who does that and everyone quite rightly takes the piss, so what do we actually want?

    You must have missed the posts last night. The one who called for Bruce to be sacked is conspicuous by his absence today.

    I'd be more concerned about why a team 2nd in the league who have been playing well only got 16k for a 'derby' game. Alot of people on facebook slating Bruce, saying we shouldn't have signed Meyler/Brady, Jak Shouldn't be playing etc, IMO they can stay away, the Jak hadn't conceded in 6 hours of league football (according to the fls).
    Ok Bruce could have done things differently, But were still 2nd, it's our first defeat in yonks and people are moaning like we've just been relegated.

    1. Exorbitant ticket prices;
    2. The game was on SKY;
    3. Poor away support for the same reasons;
    4. Poor quality opposition

    Message boards exist in part for fans to come and vent and get things off their chest. Yesterday's performance was the worst of the past two seasons, with no player playing to their normal standards and us only staying in the game courtesy of some generous refereeing.

    Fans are entitled to make whatever comments they like, but if people are calling for Bruce's head after one stinking performance then that is pretty ridiculous.

    Comments about needing to replace jakupovic though have been going around since he played his first team as he has always looked risky on crosses, and last night's blunder was up there with the worst i've ever seen at any level, followed by cringeworthy and embarrassing acting afterwards.

    Technically yes, but then you have a point where to continuously criticise and question individuals, or to ridicule the club and its employees becomes at odds with your status as a 'supporter' ,or someone who wants the your to thrive in an environment where 23 other clubs are willing your club to fail. (Why add to that?)

    It's a tightrope and I think some people are unaware of the unintentional harm they do by spreading negative opinions. We live in a world where there are vested interests of Twitter, Facebook, HDM etc who make money out of interactive forums and platforms for opinion.

    They are not encouraging you to post stuff because they believe passionately in free speech, but because they enjoy stirring it, generating traffic and causing 'controversy'. They certainly don't have Hull City's wellbeing at heart.

    With 'rights' to post, come 'responsibilities.

    This sites appears to be infested by posters with an agenda of seeing Hull City fail. Nothing unusual about that because the city is also littered with them.
    No-one is seriously calling for Steve Bruce to be sacked but you can bet you mortgage that the local hacks will pick up on it and make it out to be some massive call from 'real' fans.
    The attendance has already been picked up on 'only 16,000 for a derby'
    Typical and expected response. If we got 50,000 it would be 'only 50,000 for a derby' You cannot win.
    Personally at £28 plus a go for a live televised game I'm surprised we got as many as that.
    There are clubs in the Hull area who would kill for a 16,000 crowd for a televised game.
    I urge the genuine City fans on here and around the city to stamp on all the negative bastards who relish it when we lose. Just tune into the local radio next week or read the spoof sports letter page in the local rag for the evidence, if any was needed.
    One defeat doesn't spell disaster, we are still in the best position that we have ever been in at this level at this time of the season in the clubs history. Lets hear a bit more about that eh?

    Actually happy seeing people stick up for Jakupovic. He conceded 3 goals in 5 league games the same amount as Stockdale did in the same amount of games so why don't you slate stockdale as well sure you "top" fans wanted him back much rather have Jakupovic back between the sticks he's had one bad game ffs an 80% are getting on his back about it
