Sturridge on the bench makes sense, he's coming back into fitness and won't be sharp for a game like this. That's fine. Allen ahead of Hendo could cost us the game. Too lightweight, not good enough defensively, not as much energy which we'll need to win the midfield and can't get into the box. Also not been playing as well.
Good to see an attacking bench for once, good to see Borini back too, hopefully he can start proving a few people wrong!
To be fair, Allen has had a good last couple of appearances. But so has Hendo, but we all know Rodgers will always opt for his pet.
