Just watched the highlights on 101greatgoals and they made it look asthough it was 50/50. We tore them a new backside, even the commentator toward the end of the highlights said the scoreline was fully deserved. Big Sam mentioned during his interview the number of times that Sunderland breezed through them with ease... MOTD has gone down hill, about time ITV put a bid in for highlights... Although Micky Gray is doing a fair bit of work for BBC these days so perhaps he maybe promoted to the panel and I'm sure that would bring about a 'fairer reflection'!
I'm personally in the category of "give him Reading and Villa games" myself, but I still think Pardew has a future at the club and he's a good manager. He definitely has his faults which have been evident from the start, but I'm hoping he stays and we have a long term manager. It's been a while since either of our clubs have had a manager stay for that long. And by Prophecies, I mean you guys have predicted our doom and other bullshit before, and how many times have you been right? Never. It's easy to say a club in our position is in trouble. But I personally look at things in a complex way, I don't just do what most people do and look at what's in front of them and draw a quick conlcusion. Boycoutts? LOL. You mean like your fans refusing to spend money at Sports Direct? I posted an article on the Norwich game saying it was the worst game I've seen. I don't disagree with him. But I disagree entirely that Obertan was poor. He almost set up a goal early on, and threatened Norwich a few times. I'm a person that sticks by a player and notices all the work that they put in that most people don't see, which is why I usually defend Williamson when he is slated for no good reason, as well as Simpson. Bet you think you had me cornered there, but you're really just a pretentious fool.
I think people have forgotten how terrible Townsends 'tactics truck' trully was. Shearer isn't a great pundit but the highlights aren't entirely chosen by him (in case you were wondering) and I seem to recall him making a point about how his previous comment was wrong and Sunderland have turned it around. Thought they were pretty complimentary about your boys tbh, though not showing Larssons goal again was a mistake. Although it wasn't as tactically interesting as the others it certainly merited a further look.
Is that like a certain someone who offered every Sunderland fan on here any bet they like that Newcastle would take 4 points off us? (Although he did say "this year" at the time - which was 2012 - not season and that was impossible - he then made something about financial year, which runs from April to March, which also is impossible) still that confident?
When did I say this? lol. And we'd only have needed a draw from our game at SJP this year if you hadn't have got that lucky as **** goal at the end.
Did you not get a lucky as **** 92nd minute goal at the Sports Direct earlier last year like? Oh the short term memories of the great unwashed.
We got a late goal, but it wasnt lucky, and it was after 45 minutes of pure dominance. Your goal clipped Oshea and deflected onto Demba and went in. And I remember in the 1-1 you ***gots scored a goal that bounced of Gyan's chest in the 90th minute. lolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol
You poor sad fool. Enjoy your relegation season run in sunshine, along with that great team and manager you have there.
MoTD has gone the way of Top of the Pops, outmoded and full of irrelevant oldies mouthing banal platitudes. As for Mary Poppins, he is in denial like Lance Armstrong, refusing to admit his mistake of joining the skunks instead of manure
Wasn't you tash. Think it was toptiertoon but not certain. My comment was simply to state that your lot appear to have the same crystal balls as we do by your reckoning. BTW I don't think you'll go down but only because of Tue ****e that's down there.
Going against the grain here but I think the Craas are similar to us in that they not will go down. I feel that they are going through, now, what we were a couple of months ago - to be honest we looked very poor but I felt that we may just have enough to steer clear of the relegation fight, especially as the Mags will have important players coming back in the next few weeks. Also, there are some very poor teams below us, which helps!
Shearer was a great player , but as a pundit he's dire. Too biased towards his old club (but so is Hansen). Perhaps it's a pre requisite to get a job on MOTD. However , I still think he's the best manager the skunks have had in my lifetime.
