No doubt some people are expecting top performances every game. We'll the reality is, for the likes of us it doesn't happen. Today was undoubttedly an awful spectacle. But the fact is we got another valuable point. I expected a win but was glad we didn't lose. We have another 17 games to goand no doubt there will be more like it. Under CH and the system he plays, if it doesn't work, it looks awful. There will be clamour for wholesale changes no doubt but I would be surprised if there is. We are where we are because of a system that worked for 10 games in a row. I don't see any reason to change it yet.
It doesn't FEEL like a point closer to safety. The match itself looked like two relegation battlers who were both scared to lose. CH has really done a fantastic job so far when we play the big teams, but we are very negative against poorer sides. This makes Wet Spam, Newcastle and QPR at home, with Villa and Reading away - all games we might have won with a bit more ambition. CH is definitely NOT a risk-taker. I hope it pays off at the end of the season and we are still in the Prem.
