This has been done before I know, but after what I've just watched If we lose the reading game the Pardew has to be sacked.

I don't believe I've ever watched a worse game in the premier league. A game of the lowest standard. We had decent players on that pitch and most of them looked like they were playing in league 2 (from both teams).

We simply cannot ignore that he has no idea what he's doing and his coaching skills are none existent. Name another team that hasn't scored from a corner all season, hasn't scored from a set piece in ages and cannot win a game when going behind? Pardew and the coaching staff are terrible.

BTW I am NOT happy with a point. We are literally NO better off given the other results today, in fact we are worse off. Clean sheet fair enough, but a point and 2 shots against a team who've lost their last 4 is relegation form. Not a single person can argue with it.

We are stuffed and have to hope we stay up and then we should sack him that's the unfortunate thing, however I suspect JC would do better on his own. We need to get some signings in prior to getting rid bt to be honest anyone that thinks we will get the players we are trying to is insane.

I don't think us supporters should be dictating whether he stays or goes, or trying to, we can only query on here if he's the right man for the job, but Mike is the one who has all the available information and it's up to him to make the decision. Support him til the end at games, he might not have too many left.

I support the team and they don't like his tactics is so obvious he's lost the dressing room.

I don't know how people can class this as a bad result today.

If we come away with less than 4 pts vs Reading and Villa then maybe we can discuss this.

The Reading game could decide it all for Pardew.

I meant the board - as fans we are powerless. I'm certainly not suggesting a Blackburn-esque witch-hunt taking banners to games etc. calling for his head.

The problem is, we might be waiting until it's too late. I'm believe in consistency and continuity as much as anyone, but everything about us is terrible and I can only see this going one way. I hope I am wrong, but the last 16/17 games don't lie

It's not exactly great for us is it? It's the way we played that bothers me, not the result. Not the first time I've said that this season. I welcome the point, but you can't argue that it simply isn't enough.

We should have been going all out for the win today as soon as we seen the state of the way Norwich were playing. I reckon we're the only side in the premier league who couldn't beat them today after the way they played.

We will see. Next game is a must win though. We can't beat Reading then I think it's getting serious.

Reading got a good result today, so confidence wil have been lifted.
Pardew has to lift the lads again and I'm having my doubt's whether he can do this.

It's gone past the stage of pretty serious. Said before the game it's ridiculous to describe Norwich away as a "must win", because it's a hard place to go. However, that's what very poor performances and results have left us with, "must wins" in hard places...

This is the attitude that gets other fans annoyed!!! why should we beat Reading? we have no god given right to expect a win in any fixture based on our performances this season. I think we are in deep **** whatever the result in that game. We can't play football this season simple as that.

He is running out of excuses now. The players are coming back to him, if we look likely to be relegated by March's end he'll be sacked. If not, he'll be given the first 10 games or so of next season.

I don't see the point in sacking him just yet, mid-March is the line for me!

I think it's best to hope we stay up and sack him regardless on the last night of the season about 15 mins after survival. Then we can get someone that can at least teach the game of football and make subs based on the game not player power.

What can one more match teach you that the previous 20+ have not?

Things are bad now but there will be new signings and players do still have to return to fitness/match sharpness. The recent form has been relegation standard, no question, but to sack pardew now... I don't think it's the right move. He got us to 5th place last season, he must know what he's doing. I don't know who would replace him and it'd make signing good new players more difficult, and that sort of instability surely got us relegated last time around.

Having said that, I know he's recently signed a long contract but contracts mean nothing in football, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if ashley sacked him soon. He's got a long history of that sort of ****.

With most people on here nothing mate!!! Pardew is a fair weather manager that loses it under pressure. His history is no coincidence in my opinion.

We need to go hell for leather eatly on and get the place bouncing.I find it strange that whwn we play Man United etc we try and take the game to them yet against smaller sides we play more cautious??? it's backward to say the least.

We need new blood in the team, more players who have a bigger impact.

Are bench is not quality, we need to improve.

So finger out MA, give some investment.

Think you will get three points against reading, they are poor on their travels as we saw and don't offer much going forward.

Win that and you could well beat Villa and start stringing results together.
