Back three played ****, chester had a nightmare. meyler invisible, quinn and elmo completely useless koren? yes great header but abysmal performance... not a team player whatsoever, as slow as I am and what the **** is he doing up front? Aluko, tried but wrong position every time. SImpson finally made one good run for the penalty this season, why did Koren not take it? Scoring a penalty would not make us think he is good, the run to get the penalty was better than if he had scored it. Proschwitz needs more playing time!!!!!!!! **** sake give the lad a ****ing chance at least. Absolutely disgraceful, refund everyone. and all that in front of the whole country! Get a striker and goalkeeper NOW or we don't go up.
We aint going up, not a chance. Look at the squads teams like Cardiff, Palace, Boro, Leicester, Watford, Forest and even Birmingham and Ipswich have got. We're a million miles off, our best striker is breathtakingly **** and can't even get on the pitch, our manager is a ****ing clown who plays a 3-7-0 formation, we have no squad depth, our clown of a manager has just farmed out the one guy who sticks the whole squad together behind the scenes, our players couldn't give a flying **** and we probably now have no money to invest because our clown of a manager spent our 'promotion push' money on securing 2 players we already had on loan deals and had a good chance of securing them for the rest of the season (and forget the bullshit, if Brady wants to be here he wouldn't have signed for Watford regardless, and MoN wouldn't recall Meyler and pay him god knows how much to sit on the bench or in the reserves and do **** all), probably because he realises we're miles away from a promotion side and we'll need them next season. Maybe he's not so much of a clown after all.

Me. But honestly, we can beat mid table sides, but we are dire against lower and higher placed teams. And all those other points stand. We're just not good enough, tonight and last time out at Blackpool proved that. Bruce got manager of the month for punching above our weight, not for being consistent. Now all we can do is sit back and hope other teams **** up as badly as we do and we still scrape 6th by the end of the season.
Results DID go our way today. If we could pick a day for a performance like that then it was today! Only one team got closer to us, Cardiff barely increased their cushion and there's plenty of time in January to factor in an extra addition. Still scrape 6th by the end of the season? You're overreacting. What the team needs to do now is bounce back and everything will be ok. We've done it already this season. We went three without a win and then promptly launched ourselves up to second with a cushion. The cushion has gone now but we're still up there. Bounce back and it won't be an issue.
We got beat by a team that worked harder than us, they made us look bad the way that we used to do to teams and I would say it came from us believing our own hype so hopefully this grounds us and the players work a bit harder in the next game. Still in second place and the windows still open so time to get a striker and a gk. Onwards and upwards
I don't but I don't expect us to go up by playing this bad... we can't play much worse so we will certainly oonly be able to improve performance but we need to bring players in, a GK and striker. If we don't we can forget it
Normally, it wouldn't be much of a problem. But when the best team in the league is hot on your tail, you have to maintain your standards and not give them the chance. It's David v Goliath here, and if we let down our guard for just a second, goliath will give us a right big thump in the chops and that, essentially, is game over. It's either autos or nothing, we have proved over every game we have played so far vs the top 6, we just aren't in their league and can't compete with them on the same field. Therefore if we end in the playoffs, our dream is over and we wait til next season. We've played 6 games vs top 6 sides, won 1 drawn 2, lost 3. There is our proof we aren't good enough as things stand. A new keeper and a striker who's actually up to championship standard (nevermind an ace like campbell or graham, even Folan would do, he's a damn sight better than what we have now. On a side note, maybe Jon Walters will be available after todays brace and penalty?
They are scrapping to avoid relegation, so it was never going to be easy. I thought we were shocking, but I could forgive the loose passes and goalkeeping errors if we actually looked like we gave a ****. But we looked half arsed and didn't bother bother changing it round at half time. Hopefully we can move on. I can see Dave Jones on the phone now "We know how to bring them down, spread the word"
