Diakite is apparently home sick, so my money's on him. Livermore is a good player imo and will give Derry good support as a holding midfielder.
I must admit I don't remember seeing Livermore play , is he fast? We could use another fast player in the middle of the park
I have to say that amusing though Harold is in his press conferences, he says absolutely nothing. He agrees with everything that is put to him in a non-committal way along the lines of "Yeah. He's a good player. I'd love to have him. He plays for X at the moment and I don't know whether X want to sell him. But yeah. he's a lovely lad. Haven't spoken to TF/PB or X's manager about him" Then in answer to the next question, "Yeah I'm hoping to bring one or two in. Soon." it's beginning to grate with me inmuch the same way some of you got fed up with Colin spouting off about what a fantastic game it was and how much he was enjoying it watching these PL gods as we got trounced or just played poorly in a tedious game. Put it this way, there is no point in looking for significant clues in what he says
He is quick, and when he first broke into the spurs team looked to be a real talent, but as the games went by, it became clear the initial impact wasn't going to be sustained. but this doesn't mean he's a bad player, he may well excel at rangers in the short term (which is what you need), he will run all day long and is quick off the mark and I hope he follows in the footsteps of danny rose at sunderland who has had a cracking season so far. Also Livermore did earm his 1st england cap this year....but looking at the england squad i'm not sure if thats a compliment?
Yorkie, whether it annoys you or not, its the only way to answer questions. He's a master at it. Talking loads but saying little. He can wriggle out of anything they throw at him and I think its great. Managers can't reveal who they're after or who they're selling. They have to keep it close to their chests. Compare the way he handles the press to how Dalglish did in his last spell with Liverpool. He got wound up with everything they said and in the end he looked like an old dinosaur, totally out of his depth with modern journalists. It was actually embarrassing in the end; watching this once great stalwart of the British game reduced to being torn apart by a bunch of smart ass college kids. Keep it up Harry I say.
I agree with all that. My point is why do so many on here spend so much time and energy tellng us what he has said? "We're going for odemingwe, harry said so" being a classic example. he is a master of telling people what they want to hear without actually saying anything at all.
Yorkie, with the best will in the World, an awful lot of posters on this Board are fu*king simpletons.
