I think he treated the club abysmaly so he can **** off as far as i'm concerned. There again........................
To be fair to him, he is a Catalan, and playing for Barca is any Catalan's dream. He did make it abundantly clear that he's a 2 club man. We just happened to be in the number 2 position.
I know it hurt when he ****ed off, but I think Fabregas has got a similar love for Arsenal in the same way that Henry has. I think he'll play for us again one day. I'd be surprised if it was in the next couple of years, but I can see him coming back before his career is over.
Fabregas never treated the club badly at all. He's always been nothing but a gentlemen(although some fans sulk about the F1 incedent) Would also take him back in a heartbeat.
Fabregas might return to Arsenal when he is 30 or older. He has many things to achieve at Barca, still to win the CL or a league and I am sure he wants to be the man to replace Xavi when he stops playing. Despite some misgivings about the way he left in the end, I still rate Cesc as one my favourite ever Arsenal players. He gave everything when he was in that red and white shirt and I can never forgot his brilliance in that 07-08 season. Also looking back it's just scary how as a 16 year he just came in and slotted into the midfield of the English champions back in the 2004-05 season.
It's not a case of sulking about the F1 incident. His behaviour over the incident as club captain was disgraceful.
Really NOT we have no idea what happened behind the scenes. All we do know is Fabregas has always spoken about Arsenal with nothing but love. If you follow him on Twitter its clear the guy is still an Arsenal fan.
Who cares? What concerns me is who we are going to bring in this January. Wenger talking about this pie in the sky bullshit now seems like deflecting attention from the transfer window and our woefully inadequate squad. You're kidding no-one Arsene, get real!
Who gives a **** about the F1 incident? This is where some MAJOR inconsistency comes from fans. If you want to blame someone, then blame the MANAGER, the MANAGER, gave PERMISSION to Fabregas to attend the F1. So why doesn't Wenger get any criticism by the same fans who get on Fabregas' back? WENGER DIDN'T SEE A PROBLEM WITH IT. So show some ****ing consistency and attack the manager, but oh right, that ain't going to happen, even though by their own indirect admission, Wenger should be criticised. It was the last game of the season, Fabregas was INJURED, so he wouldn't have been at the game anyway. Plus, the game didn't mean anything, top 4 was secured, there was nothing to play for.
I really worry about Wenger. The started to say some weird things. "We have no problem with people wanting to join us. I would like to give you my phone for 24 hours, and you would see that. Can we afford them? Most of them, yes; a few of them, no. Can you afford Lionel Messi today? Certainly not, but we can afford 90% of them". From that I can deduct that Messi wants to join Arsenal. Or at least Wenger thinks so. He also said that Fabregas will come back. I really worry.
