I'd take our first XI over theirs any day. But yes, as we've both alluded to, our bench is nothing to shout about. Vlaar vs Seaborne, Bannan vs De Ridder, Agbonlahor vs Lee. Hopefully though it wont come to us needing the bench. (If we do, god help us!)
Shame to lose Guly, leaves us with all four first team attacking players on the pitch. Same shape as what we did at Stoke I think and hopefully they will not hit a 90th minute worldy.
I reckon Lambert as captain could be good. Normally I'd prefer a defender or striker as captain, as they might get a better view of the game, but there's no doubt that Lambert can inspire the ret of the team (remember how they lifted once he came on at Man City?). Expecting the Villa fans to turn on their team if we take the lead, and our fans to easily outsing the home fans!
He's a regular starter at Forest now so prob better where he is, as playing every week. Its good to see him doing well.
Hell yeah! Love that guy, reckon he'd do some damage, especially after the pre-season he had with us. Saying that, big fan of the j-rod, so I know it wasn't any easy choice for the club or himself.
