Sounds great, lads in E2 doing a fine job trying to drive the atmosphere up, all to be encouraged and joined in with, come on City lets make some noise.
Lets all make a bit of an effort today , fair play to anybody who wants to improve the atmosphere at the KC
Don t knock the West stand upper, I sit there and yes It is all flat caps and flasks, but many go to every game, and seem to have done for years. I did not get it when I was in the South Stand, but now I am sat there I can. They may not scream shout or sing, but you knw what, they are as vital to the club as any in the East Stand. There are a few who moan, but I have to say that I can watch a match and I enjoy the games more now than I have ever done before. I don't mind the singing but there is a reserved feel about it, it as if it is embarassing. Hard to explain, but it's different that's all.
I cant think of any reason why there would be any intervention in this. 1) How is it a problem? If they don't give off heat or smoke they literally don't impact on anyone else's enjoyment 2) They'd look stupid in front on the nation's armchair fans and would be derided for it.
someone got kicked out at blackpool for letting these off... think there pretty harmless, there was a kid of about 8 or 9 years old who took pretty much the full force of the smoke and i think he was still alive at full time..
I think your getting mixed up, what happened at Blackpool was a smoke bomb, set off by a group of drunk 14/16 year old children These flares are completely different, and are been set off by Adults
That actually may be true. The ones that have been let off at some away games were kind of funny but a toned down, health and safety approved version which is all built up on forums and social networks beforehand could turn out to be a bit Leicestery. Hope not but we'll see. One thing's for sure though, we won't be telling the keeper he's **** after every goal kick!
whatever smoke thing was let off at Blackpool was embarrassing, and a cringe-worthy effort by some drunk schoolchildren, I was praying the home fans didn't see it
To be honest I don't give a **** what anybody else thinks about this experiment, its refreshing to see that someone is actually getting up of there arse and doing something to change the atmosphere in our ground. If it works brilliant if not at least they've had a go.
Calm down dear, wasnt knocking anybody, read the post. For the record, i sat in there on my todd, next to two old blokes who id never met, had a good chinwag about the game for 90mins and enjoyed it.
That's what I was saying, I'm not going off on one about our post, You can't expect he West Stand to do what the East stand does.
