    Sunderland close in on £3.5m Sissoko as Newcastle target £5m Okore

    Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is close to signing French star Moussa Sissoko, 23, in a £3.5million deal.
    The midfielder is being made available by his club Toulouse as his contract is up in the summer and they don't want to miss out on a fee.
    O'Neill, who is still keen on Swansea striker Danny Graham, will make an offer next week.

    Newcastle, meanwhile, have added Manchester United target Jores Okore, 20, to their list of potential signings.
    The Danish international defender is available for around £5m and impressed for Nordsjaelland in the Champions League this season.

    Lets hope they are wrong. Not about us signing him, just being a Man U target. I just want a centre back. I really really want a centre back. Have I mentioned I want a centre back?

    We need to go out and spend a good 5 on Jonas Olsson or maybe 8-10 on Brede Hangeland. Or go back for Chris Samba who probably ain't feeling too great in Russia right now.

    Any of those players can come in and reorganise or defence which has peen piss poor all season. I'm not too troubled with Colo leaving, but I'd rather he be leaving for an actual fee which doesn't seem to be the case. 10 mio down the drain essentially.

    I'm getting pretty sick of being linked with players and then never even bidding anywhere near their valuationss. It's seems to be it's all rubbish or that the clubs aim is to forst unsettle the player and then get them cheap after waiting ages to bid.

    Christ we wont sign anyone for good for two reasons

    we wont offer enough of money to the club or player to join a team looking like goinf down
    we have no intention of signing these players anyway.
