The only place showing the match was in a small village up in the mountains called Plaka, about 5 miles from where I live. There were only 5 people in the taverna and a couple were sat in front of me,anyway the man turned around and asked if I supported Chelsea ,no said I to which he told me his son was playing for the swans. I asked him who his son was and he told me that he was Leon Britton. What a coincidence! I joined them and we all enjoyed a great performance ,will see them again in 2 weeks.Who are we- JACK ARMY!!!!!!!
No they were genuine . Someone - I think it was Phil told me a couple of weeks ago that Leon had bought them a house out here.
Some strange old Spanish woman suddenly appeared in my living-room before kick-off and asked if she could watch the game. She said her grandson was playing for Swansea. I asked who it was and she said Michu!! Another amazing coincidence
I was watching tonights game also, when some strange woman rudely sat beside me but offered me a drink. Turns out, she likes the swans and I married her 6 years ago.
I knew that ...... She was watching it with me instead! The wife had to get her some Sangria from Lidl
kalispera Pete! Glad you enjoyed the company of Leon's family, that's a nice spot Plaka, near Almyrida, where I've enjoyed many a good swim. next time you bump into Leon's dad, ask him how his daughter-in-law is doing, say you heard he has a 'couple' of grandchildren on the way!........... PS: Don't say you heard from me though, I'll get into trouble!...............
