Would be a decent player, can play left-back or centre-back which we need. He'll be 30 before too long but that's better than Gallas and Distin who we've also been linked with. That said, for £5m, I think there are better options out there. I'm surprised we haven't been linked to Roger Johnson and Scott Dann, both were excellent for Birmingham but moves to Wolves and Blackburn haven't worked out too well and should be available for less than £5m. However, both have been relegated a couple of times!!!
Not sure about Roger Johnson personally. When I have seen him he hasnt looked great tbh. Overrated maybe?

Fair enough, just going by what I saw of him at Birmingham and what prompted Mick McCarthy to spend £7m on him. Harry is the sort of manager that could get him back playing to his best and would be available reasonably cheaply.
