    Don't recall seeing him play for us (his appearances must have been away) but I assume he was poor?

    I saw him on the FLS the other week. He was playing in L1 or L2. Must have been on loan.

    He signed for Crawley after being released by Everton. Don't think he's ready for the step up yet.

    NP brought him in on loan from Everton in March 2011 with a view to a permanent but he was just planning to look at him in training and reserve games. Injuries meant he was brought onto the bench and came on against QPR when Evans got injured and then started the final game of the season against Bristol City

    He was a sub against QPR away and started against Brizzle away in the final game of the season.

    His goal at QPR was good, but other than he looked ****.

    Looks like Reading have thrown in the PL towel then. Building a team for the championship,, but with Hope Akpan ? <yikes>

    Crawley was his level, imo.

    Yeah, it wasn't Akpan who scored at QPR it was infact David Amoo who was on loan from Liverpool, he now plays for P.N.E

    Akpan has been sent off a few times for Crawley I think but he's netted a few too. Never looked special enough for us to be a PL regular.
