Difficult to stick to only one decade as so much of the music I like spans more than one. 50's - Rock & Roll, Rockabilly, Doo-Wop 60's - British pop & rock, start of metal/hard rock, Soul 70's - Glam, Punk, new wave, ska revival, funk 80's - New wave of British Heavy Metal, Anarchist Punk, cheesey pop 90's - Thrash, fusion/cross over (metal/funk/rap) grunge 00's and beyond - the odd high point but mostly dross I find little of interest in music today other than some of the bands I've always liked still manage to drag themselves out on tours and may release new stuff. Even if you held a gun to my head I couldn't tell you who was at number one now.
Best band in the 00's has to be Kasabian for me... Agreed though mostly dross for the last ten years.. I also hated all the whiny singers with an acoustic guitar that seem to be prevalent. . many of them need exterminating. especially james blunt.
To hard to call between the 80s and 90s. Nothing beat a bit of Whigfield or Doop on the ghetto blaster when chucking rocks at the police. Pudsy saw the Killers just after Tony Wilson died and they went through a whole load of factory records tunes. Tap qwality
I've stayed away from main stream music for the past 12 years. What do Psy, LMFAO, J-lo and Kanye West all have in common?
The answer is pointless now. You can all just ****ing rack your brains to figure it out yourselves now. Arseholes.
Not fair! If you don't tell me I'll be in turmoil trying to work it out and won't be able to concentrate on my next ****.
Anything to do with that ringtone on the telly a few weeks back,The Who I think it was but can't remember the track, any ideas?
My last attempt then I'm going home,LMFAO are uncle and nephew who are in turn related to Berry Gordy but don't know about the rest
