    I took this from Twitter.
A kid lost his lego figure and Lego went that extra mile to help. If only all companies behaved the same....

Wonder if I email my bank and explain about how all my money got lost when I went into a pie shop, I'll get the same sort of service? Worth a try I suppose.

Not quite the same, but my mate is currently in Afghan and said the thing he was really missing was decent coffee - I sent him out 5 packets of whole bean today and was expecting to have to fork out £30+ for the postage but it turns out its free...I'm assuming its tax money that pays for it but I think it's money well spent!

Absolutely....I purchased a blow up doll from my local sex shop and unbeknown to me the proprietor of the shop had obviously pierced the said doll with a pin so everytime I blew her up she went down on me.

That's what I call going the extra mile for your customers.

That's fantastic that they did that. The annoying thing is that if they refused to give him a new one for free, they'd be called assholes and heartless ****s, but it isn't their fault the kid took his action figure to a shop and dropped it, and they didn't need to replace it.

You have to wonder sometimes how genuine these things are but I work for Sainsburys and we received a letter from a young boy who asked why we called a particular loaf, tiger bread. He stated that the pattern on the bread was more like a giraffe.

The powers that be agreed with the little boy and now the bread is known as giraffe bread and he got loads of free stuff.

At the end of the day, companies use **** like this to their advantage and for such a small outlay, the PR it gets, it earns them ****loads.
