Signed today for an undisclosed fee. Finished his loan spell with us looking really good and was unjustly sent off v Aldershot. It did take him a little time to settle in, though.
Very pleased to have McAllister back. Brought a lot of drive and energy to our midfield last season. Not the most consistent passer but produced a few beauties and has a thunderous shot. Was good enough to (justifiably) keep Wroe on the bench. It was such a pity his time here ended with the anti-climax of a terrible refereeing decision. Welcome back.
Excellent news. I've been saying for a long time that we needed a CM in the mould of D Mac to stiffen up the midfield, so the man himself is an excellent coup. Some Sheffield fans were a little disappointed to see him go, although most of them seem to have been expecting it. I certainly expect one or two departures now.
