No way am I saying we need or want him, just strange that QPR would opted to activate a release clause in his contract, not pulling his weight? or just not performing? or maybe injured too much...

Sure someone in the Championship will take a punt on him

Methinks that Palace might have a go for him.

Think our arry will be having as much of a clear out as he can. I still believe hell take QPR out of the relegation zone, just depends who he can bring in.

Couldn't find odds on them to avoid relegation when I looked on paddys phone app the other day, but I guess they'll have shortened somewhat over that expected and overhyped win at Stamford bridge.

What d'you think the odds are on him being stretchered off on his debut? Saying that, bookies probably won't take any bets on it.

I always thought that when he played for England his name was very apt for his performances...

His last game for England was in 2007 against Germany - he came on as a substitute for Alan Smith.

    How times change...

To be fair I always liked Alan Smith as a player when he was @ TWS

35 games played since 2007-08, not what we are looking for is it.

SWP would be a good option for Reading but they want Hope Akpan instead. Looks like Harry is weeding out the wasters now.

    I heard 42, is it 35 starts?

Either way, QPR fans on my facebook newsfeed have been thanking him for his 97 minutes for them.

Reading want Akpan? Is someone on crack?
