Hi Sheep. I expect a refreshed BLUEbird team to see off the Tractor boys easily. 3-0 for me with Bellers, Hudson and Noone on the scoresheet.
Also I'm away next week so can you put me down for a 2-1 win against Blackpool with Whitts (he's got to score again sometime!) and HH to score.

Well, my predictions for the last 4 games were all against City, with draws at best, and look what happened.

For consistency therefore I will go for a 1 - 1 draw with Turner to net - he is overdue to open his account this season.

 

Bluey - I'm sure we all appreciate you "taking one for the team", but don't be such a bloody martyr about it.....

Got to be a City win again for me, and by the same score as up there.

Sheepy, gimme another 2-1 to City. I'm still not sure we've got the goals in us yet - we always seem to be winning the hard way.

If Darren Bent does join us in time for the game, make that 6-1 to us with Benty getting the other 4......

 

I don't know who should be more insulted, the good people of Newport where I was born or the citizens of Merthyr where I hardly ever go but have some good friends.

Speaking of Merthyr, I play squash in the Mid Glamorgan Leagues and a new team has entered this season - Merthyr Ladies. Now those are 2 words not often heard together in the same sentence and in that order.

 

Talking of Merthyr ladies, I do recall Gren imortalising Arnold in his musings, the Aberlfyarff blindside mugger.

Apparently his wife was from Merthyr, and went by the name of Blodwen Nutstrampler.

The things I have seen some young ladies doing at 7.00 in the evening on a Saturday night in the car park of Merthyr Labour Club...............

All I can say is weak bladders must be an inherent problem up there.

 

My first match in ages, can't wait! I'm coming across from London with a couple of Tractor supporting mates so hoping I will be able to take the mickey on the drive home
