Confirmed January Signings ....

Think it's obvious the first choice was Wood, but for one reason or another that's been and gone. My dad lives in peterborough and I've seen a lot of Mackail-Smith over the years - he never stops running and he's very good off the ball and would run the channels all day long - but he's just not clinical enough, and he's so much better in a front 2 rather than up on his own. Whether that's different now he's at Brighton, I don't know, but if we're going for players similar to Becchio (Wood and Blackstock would imply we are) that suggests to me we're looking to play one up top, with McCormack and Somma the options if we chose to play two in attack. So I don't see much point in signing CMS unless we want to play 4-4-2 full time...

 

Is it just me or is there a certain lack of anything to talk about at the moment, and is not that a bit worrying?

 

Yea Neil Danns is a good shout, a real powerful runner who can stride through midfields. Reminds me of that Leigertwood chap from Reading.
