The club have appointed Nick Thompson as MD but I,m.not sure he has a football background re transfers but he is very respected for commercial and other revenue generating purposes, also more of a people person.

Do you personally know all the posters on city independent then? I know several and in every case they have at least 25 years of solid support for Hull City, home and away under their belts, and that's just the junior members. CI is no different from this or any other message board/from for attracting cranks, multi posters and **** stirrers. Just don't tar everyone with the same brush.

I hold the view that had it not been for the Allams we'd all be kicking arround watching North Ferriby now. Not being a self made business man I cannot critique anything this family have done for the club. Plus I have it on good authority (a contact who works in the world of business banking) that the Allams are 100% serious about building thier own stadium if we get promoted! The business plans in place along with the finance plans!!!
I don't believe they are serious. Obviously I cannot say for sure but I very much doubt they're going to build a new stadium. They're going to have to build it outside of the Hull City Council boundries for a start, which isn't going to be a popular decision with City fans.
I'm only relaying what I've been told today. I agree they may be pressing the numbnuts at HCC to sell the KC, But if HCC will not sell then they have everything in place to go it alone. At the end of the day the capacity of the KC really sets the clubs income stream.. They aren't prepared to continue with a poor balance sheet i.e. no assets
Why does that prevent you from having a viewpoint? Do you think everything they have done and how they have done it has been good? Or have they messed some things up? I don't see how having very deep pockets exempts you from criticism of how you run Hull City. If the Allams said publicly "No one has a right to criticise anything we have done- we have put millions in so shut up", would you think that was ridiculous?
Fair point mate. I understand that moving will be the only option if HCC won't sell the stadium to the Allams but I think they will. They cannot afford to have an Elephant in the middle of Hull.
