Kerkar gets half a mark for running off quickly when his number came up. Udders were not very good, that's why the score was only 0-1.

Very witty, Billy! But even there Harriott would have run off much quicker, eh?

I think Button had the longest kick I have seen from any goalkeeper for a long time.Sam Allardyce will be watching him.

Not based on today as I wasn't there, but dervite is fast becoming our llera. Against Watford I remember one ball seemingly just bounce past him and he looked horribly awkward. Goal 2 or 3.

Loved the kerkar comment. It's a shame as I thought he had a decent start to his CAFC career. I won't give up on him just yet.

if we had stayed with 11 men we'd have scored. with 10, it was mostly us.

it was the reserves though, so i dont think there is anything to panic about. i think powell was using it to decide who gets to stay

We were 1-0 down with 11, would have probably been 2-0 but for Dervite's professional foul, and were marginally better with 10, at least after Kerkar and Cook went off.

I'd go as far as to say his goose is cooked.

People thought the same of Wilson. He's a young lad, maybe another loan to league one, and finding him a permanent position would help?

I never thought that about Wilson, but I've seen Cook a few times now and don't expect to see much more of him. I actually thought he looked quite promising the first time I saw him but he seems to have gone backwards fast. Kerkar has too, and both our full-backs carried more attacking threat than our wingers.

Dervite has a lot of assets, reasonably quick, good header, good tackler and can pick a pass. It seems that we cannot rely on him at CB though. Could he be converted to a defensive midfielder, as we don't have a proper one (apart from Andy Hughes who looks finished, at least at this level)?

I know he has already played there, but thrust in abruptly rather than groomed for the position, so the Good Doctor might be willing to consider the idea?

Is dervite quick? The jury is out on his positioning and reading of the game for me. I see on another thread you were talking about watching the Watford game. Watch him on the 2nd or 3rd goal.
