I thought Kagawa looked very good before his injury. Always looked dangerous and like he'd do something.

He was dreadful today, first touch was awful heavy and he didn't look upto speed.

Kagawa had a poor game no way around that. There were glimpses of his talent with some great touches and turns on the ball. He just seemed really timid and got pushed off the ball almost when the wind blew. He doesn't look like a player we can bulk up, but I think he'll be a lot more useful against teams like Swansea, Arsenal ect. Teams that don't play super physical like West Ham did today.

I thought Welbeck was great today other than the 2 times he should have passed to Chicharito instead of shooting. His ball control was excellent and his movement was off the ball was fantastic.

Rafael is much better at right back when he can use his pace to overlap people. When he's playing as a winger he seems a bit out of sorts.

at the start of the season he was good, his link up play, his passing, his quick time passing was very good then he got injured for 2 months, he looks rusty at the moment which you can not blame after being out for so long. he just needs few more games to get his form back and he'll do great mark my words.

Kagawa is s hit. Anyone saying otherwise is clearly blind.

To justify him being good by helping a German team win the title is like saying that Sunderland should be top four because we sold them john O'Shea. To say he is better than hazard and Cazorla is absolute madness. He has done f uck all nothing nada. Pathetic. It is no wonder fans of other teams think we're ****s when we are defending the indefensible. **** kagawa the sooner we buy someone of actual quality like sneijder the better. As opposed to urging someone to sell shirts in Asia the better.

As to the chanting. Lets remember both clubs hate each other. I've not encountered a united fan that hasn't felt empathy toward them over hillsborough ... The chant was there prior to that event and aimed at the heysel. Which they are guilty of.. And the sole reason English teams were **** in Europe because of the ban as a consequence of that game.

Would like to add that I like most of the scousers on this site (you know who you are) so am not being nasty just telling it how it is.

    Very harsh indeed.

No beating about the bush that he had a poor game yesterday. Even the United fans in the Trevor Brooking Stand yesterday were starting to get fed up with him and were giving him stick. But he has just returned from injury and he needs more time to play with a consistent side. He has the potential to come really good in the champions league.

    Lets wait and see.

    Not a lot it's true.

Middle ground needed I reckon, he'd been out injured for quite a while and it's a bit knee jerk to judge him on last night, even though he was not good.

I reckon he's got potential but we just haven't missed him when he's been out so this season should now be all about settling in and we can judge him next season.

Really, who's place is he going to take at this time? Not Young or Valencia and Nani and Rooney will be back soon enough to further block his way.

I reckon we should go for Sneijder ahead of Lampard though if it's true he's available. Definitely.

I'd rather we signed Mathh before we signed Lampard.

Lampard is the past and is the Chavs past too. We need to look to the future.

I usually agree with most of your posts, but I have to say that is just bollocks. Kagawa looked well off the pace but he's just come back from injury, many players take time to get back up to match sharpness when they come back from time on the treatment table (Rooney took a long time to find his feet again after his metatarsal injury), I don't even think he's had any game time in the reserves before that game and before he got injured he was starting to looking good, replacing him with Sneijder would be a huge mistake if you ask me, he's barely even kicked a ball since September because of injuries and he hadn't exactly played regularly for a while before that because of even more injuries, can an injury prone player that hasn't really set the world on fire for years anyway really justify the massive wages he would demand? I'm pretty sure I would rather spend those wages elsewhere.

Sneijder was just an example.. I can't say I've followed his progress in Italy.

To me when kagawa played prior to injury he just reminded me of park ie a headless chicken. Just more lightweight an got knocked off the ball too easily. Maybe he will come good. I'm not convinced he will from what little I've seen of him.

Park was a top class player for us, worked his bollocks off and delivered in big games. Just because he ran around alot, don't underestimate how affective a hard working player like Park could be. Every team needs players who will work hard.

Kagawa is also a top class player, and played well at the start of the season before his injury. He didn't have a great game yesterday but he's been out for a while plus he was playing out of position. His natural position is just off the front man, not wide left.

Kagawa was Bundesliga player of the year last season, and poor players don't win that award. Just give him some time and we will see the best of him

FFS I cannot understand why you are giving Kagawa such stick. <doh>

He is as far removed from Park as you can get. But what was wrong with Park in the first place? He did a job for the team. We can't have a team of Paul scholes'. Some people must do the hard work!

And even though some away fans yesterday were giving Kagawa some stick there were others who were cheering him too.
