Seems to have fallen well below where he was when originally on loan.. Is Bruce willing to keep him or trade? I know what I'd do... So the question is : Stick Or Twist?
When your manager is talking about your weight and says that he has no idea what you have been doing for the last 3 months, you can pack your bags.
fully agree - but you would think that we would pay some attention about whats happening to our player whilst he's not with us- no use complaining 3 months later about the state hes in
I am surprised by that to be honest. I know they have conversations with the other clubs about the players but they really should have to report back to the club every few weeks for a debrief and physical. It isnt like England is so large that you cant make the trip back a couple times a month.
I'm not surprised he's come back in a right mess, he was showing signs of mental problems last season. He hasn't got the strength of character to be a pro footballer. Sad but there it is!
I was sat next to his parents and brother today, they was even turning away at one point and saying he needed to run at the player!
when Nige came knocking he was seen as our best prospect and we all breathed a sigh of relief when he stayed.. then he got injured and clearly couldn't deal with it.. compare what SB said about him to Sir Jack of Hobbs.. miles apart.
When you send a player on loan they are in their care and jurisdiction - nothing else should be expected. I have questions about Burnley, to be sure. Stewart, no questions, he was a knob before he left, he's simply came back a fat, arrogant knob with no career aspirations. SB knew his worth was zilch before he went - it's Stewart who is the knob - keep focussed on that!
It's obviously very easy to type that in anonymity. But to be perfectly honest you don't know him do you, how do you know he's arrogant? Fair enough he's not fit and apparently overweight at the minute and possibly may never play for us again. But from my equally uninformed viewpoint it appears much more likely that the injury completely killed his confidence and things haven't gone his way since. The Burnley loan went downhill when they changed managers and so he's not played regularly in quite some time. Fair enough he shouldn't be overweight as a professional sportsman, but if you're implying that the reason he's fat is because he thinks his weight has no implications on how good a footballer he can be, well unless you're around him I don't see how you could know this?
Looks like he has deleted his Twitter account too, just in case he gets any justified ****e for being ****ing useless.
