QPR and Fulham lead chase for £3m Huddlestone with Livermore also available

Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for midfielders Jake Livermore and Tom Huddlestone.
Spurs are unlikely to allow Huddlestone, 26, to leave on loan, but a bid of around £3million could prove successful.

Hair-raising: Huddlestone is wanted by both QPR and Fulham

Fulham, who finalised a four-year deal on Friday for FC Twente midfielder Chris David, 19, would be keen to take Huddlestone on loan but Craven Cottagers boss Martin Jol will face competition from Harry Redknapp, who wants to bring in at least four players to aid QPR’s survival battle.
Redknapp has alternatives such as Momo Diame, 25, at West Ham and Yann M’Vila, 22, at Rennes, but the ex-Spurs boss wants players who will make an immediate impact.

Harold + QPR = linked with every player under the sun. Believe nothing until on the offish.

 

The lad has a cracking barnet though doesn't he? A poor mans Carlos valderama.

 

I like huddlestone and hes the right age but we have to sort out other areas first, he would be a good replacement for Derry next season so go with a loan and buy if we stay up.

 

He has about the same pace and mobility as Derry.

 

Err...our midfield can't do the job. We may have approx 973 midfielders but none with the ability to control the centre of the park.

 

Or the ball (Adel Excepted)...

 

Maybe after hes just finished a marathon.

We need 2 quality players for each position, Id be very happy with 4 of Mbia, Diakte, Granero Faurlin and Huddlestone next season. Of course that means one of our current midfield plus Derry has to leave by the summer.

 

Huddlestone is soooo slow and needs so much time on the ball.Doesnt close down or control the middle. Hes got an ok pass and shot but thats it.Looks a bit lazy too. My yids pal doesnt rate him at all...he says Livermore is very average too.

 

you can have livermoore
