Promotion chasing team, cup a distraction, rested players, low motivation, crowd not up for it, lower league opposition - it always seems to happen.

I might have a sneaky tenner at 15/2.

my Dad (mr doom and gloom) thinks we will. And mentioned we lost last season to Crawley.

    I think we might scrape a 1.0.

I think we will win this one comfortably, there is a motivation in the squad, and SB has proved if a player performs then he will give them their chance. They will want today to show that they are worthy of a first team start. Carney and Stewart if they play need to put is performances.

Why only a tenner? Go on, be a negative miserable bastard and lose a ton for us all. :emoticon-0119-puke:

    We'll win at a canter <party>

In a wild and unusual show of confidence I am going 4-0 City (20/1) with a Nick P hat trick (50/1).

I think we will win confortably, nice to see Prozzy start and hopefully play 90 mins. I think we will win by two goals.

I am going for a win, even with the regulars missing it is still a good team and players like Prozzy will want to show what they can do over 90 mins.

Please explain to me why I have a feeling we may lose is 'negative and miserable'? If I said I WANTED us to lose you may have a point.

I have a feeling I wont win the lottery tonight. What a negative, miserable **** I am.

Was thinking much the same thing. Orient are a decent L1 side with a good away record and they're the only team that wants to win it at the moment. We've put out a team of fringe players that haven't played together in the 3-5-2 before. The club haven't given two ****s about the FA Cup for years so you can't blame any City fan for thinking we'll get knocked out. Gave up with pre-season games long ago. Mid-season friendlies are no different. Wish I'd put a bet on now.

    Sheff Wed next week!

What surprised me most about that match was how poor Orient were. A draw was a fair result and we were utter garbage. For a decent L1 team, our first team would have totally dismantled them.

What an escape; if your rampant miserable negativity had have got a good hold it would have lost you £850 - lucky escape, hombre! <cheers>

I thought of having a bet, but on the shower of ****e he played - you've got to be kidding! <monster>

I'm glad we've got a replay after that performance. We need to put the same side out again (maybe swap Margetts for Cullen) and SB should tell them it's their chance to make up for today's debacle.
The good thing is apart from travelling to the replay the first team won't be involved and today's team will get an additional game to sharpen up. So looking on the bright side the replay is a bonus.
