I doesn't matter what the players think.
They don't belong to us .
If brady wants to stay here, he will walk into fergies office and stick in a transfair request.
If fergie gives him a shot at the manu first team squad then its bye bye hull city.

Needs to get the Brady/Elmo situation sorted in the next 7 days.
Need to have them both playing in a 5 man midfield to push on for promotion.

What if Leicester say to Brady - come here and play as a winger in a 442?
Is he happy playing as a wing back??
Only he really could answer that.

Does anyone have an idea how long is left on Elmo's contract with Sunderland? Reckon this could be MON's way of us signing him.

I think MON wants shot of FC and Elmo to free up funds for his own signings. Managers only use the media for a reason.

It's the same scenario as if they get injured. What happens then?

If we have to splash out on Elmo and Brady and it meant we couldn't sign a striker, then so be it. We've got this far with the players we already have.

Sorry mate you can call me pedantic if you want but the word is 'losing' not 'looseing'.
I've seen 'lose' spelled 'loose' on here a hundred times and bit my lip, but this is going to far.

That was last season and he was ****, he looks a completely different player this season, the left wing back role really suits him.

I don't know why you'd want him though, he looks poor in a 4-4-2.

MON is impatient to have money in his pocket now to get his own signings. He has put out a subtle warning to SB that he wants an offer for Campbell and now he has upped the stakes with a subtle threat about the future of Elmo. I can only think the delay on City's part is that the Allams only want loans this window (as announced) and SB is struggling to get the cash.

I warned about this scenario on another thread without being taken seriously, but is it a coincidence that January is here and again questions are arising about our owners willingness to buy?
Ok the Allams are forking out for Meyler, but historically teams that get promoted invest a lot more than £1.5million in January to subsidise a final push. I hope I'm wrong and the owners release the funds Bruce needs to complete the job.

I'm fairly certain this is O'Neils way of getting us to deal on Elmo early. Thus freeing up funds for him. I would also like to think that even if SAF has plans long term for Brady the experience he'll get back here in the run in for promotion would be ideal for the lad, bettered only perhaps by a premiership loan move. If a permanent transfer is in the offing I would also like to think Brady would choose us over Leicester (being best mates with half the team would help surely!) but I also understand that money corrupts, it even made "principled" Nigel weak at the knee's!

I echo a previous posters comments, these two deals need sorting ASAP, as apriority over a striker. I'd rather take my chances with what we've had than attempt the run in without Brady & Elmo and with Campbell/whoever.
