Watford 16/1 for a win, 8/1 for the draw. And yes, I have broken the cardinal rule of betting, going for my own team.
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/manchester-city-pitch-invaders-three-ban-195534238.html#KXgq2SA One less to contend with I suppose. And a timely reminder for all Hornet fans to stay off the pitch when we win.
....and it's Scottish. Not often that the words 'Scottish', 'decent' and 'pint' get mentioned together.
hey BB we have a Brewdog bar in Bristol and i'm lucky enough to have the drummer in our band working there as assistant manager. Dont know if you have tried their beer but as far as i'm concerned they sell some of the finest beers known to mankind!
Have visited their brewery in Fraserburgh (the only thing of note there) which is not far from where I live. You're right, they do have some damned fine beers - unfortunately though, they stopped brewing my favourite 3 or 4 years ago (The Physics) & I never did find out why.
my best are on...i only got 14/1 for a Watford win but i took it..and 40/1 for Chalobah scoring first...might as well go for that
Just saw this post on Facebook... hmm! dont shoot the messenger but.... According to somebody that i know who has connection with the club, Zola has told him that Abdi, Deeney, Chalobah, Eustace, Nosworthy and Doyley all start. Presumably giving us the line up of: Almunia, Doyley, Nosworthy, Ekstrand. Chalobah, Eustace. Pudil, Cassetti, Abdi, Deeney, Vydra. i can only think doyley for Hoban is for experience is big games. Nosworthy for the injured hall over neuton. Eustace for hogg perhaps matching the rumours he is off?
I see on The Guardian site that only Hastings have worse betting odds on winning. Apparently the bookies think that Mansfield are more likely to beat Liverpool than we are to win.
Go to bed! You have a long drive tomorrow and there will be roadworks near junction 13 of the M6 holding things up.
hmmm one more bottle of 5am saint before bed. then up at 7am big breakfast and the 9am train from bristol temple meads cant wait tomorrow hopefully meet up with a few of you i'll be the big tall guy with the long goatee . big grin and a slightly boozed swagger. YOU 'ORNS!!!!!
ooh okay ...i'm off..night night! See some of you there, and if i don't...have a fab day!!! Night night
Just heard that Bond will start in goal as Manu has a hamstring problem. Also Doyley, Nosworthy and Eustace start. I presume that means no Hogg, Hall or Hoban. Will update as I can. COME ON YOU ORNS
I hope we get behind Bond if he doesn't have the best of games. I'm sure the 6000 strong travelling army will, but I mean afterwards: when he next plays at Vicarage Road, on forums, social media etc. As good as we are as a club in giving youngsters opportunities, we do have a bit of a habit as fans of getting impatient with them. It's easy to forget that he's still a teenager. How old was Foster when he first came to us? 22 or 23? Loach was 20 when he made his debut, David James was 20 before he made his league debut (according to Wikipedia), and looking away from Watford the likes of David Seaman and Peter Schmeichel were older than him before they played in a game as big as a Championship match, let alone a cup tie of this magnitude. It's far, far, far too early to judge Bond on what he has done at Watford. To be a keeper that lower league clubs rate is in itself an amazing achievement at his age.
As the saying goes - if you're good enough , you're old enough But I agree with you - a tremendous opportunity and we need to give him full support
Bond needs all our support, I just hope he does not get stage fright on this very big occasion U'Orns
With J Bond between the sticks I am sure ice cool nerves will prevail. Will he wear 001 on the jersey with a bit of mud on the shirt to look like 007?
