No contradiction at all, I said I live in the now which I do, but appreciate where we've come from. Now where in my post to aber did I suggest that history doesn't have it's part ?

I saw the swans promoted to division one when I was a kid, I have fond memories of that and I enjoyed being a kid supporting my local team and seeing the big teams playing here. So I appreciate that, now how does that help us now ? The answer it doesn't its the past and doesn't get us results.

I also saw the bad times at my club, that also doesn't help now, you can use it for context though on far we have come. It was only ten years ago and our club has moved a lot since then.

The point is no matter what you do you live in the now and try to effect the future with your actions, dwelling on the past will only hamper you. To put this into context just look at Liverpool in the last 20 years or so, stuck in the past and not doing much in comparison to the teams of the past. Perhaps Brendan will change that ??

Very childish posting it on another forum, just shows the sheer lack of class of the poster in question. Should I now post it on planetswans to get a balanced view ? Absolutely pathetic

Does he ? Well it's very juvenile and just shows the level of intellect of this person. If anyone wanted to debate what i said its on this thread to do so. Posting it on another forum without links to here just shows him for what he is, very immature.

Wrong Swamp so wrong and you know it.

Can you tell me what Cardiff's official colours and nickname are please ?
You're all harping on about history but haven't those owners of yours totally disregarded yours ? Hasn't your history now started in August 2012 since the rebranding ? They clearly didn't worry about your history of playing in blue and being called the Bluebirds.
Your away kit is now blue. How long do you think that will be for ? Is it only blue this season to help smoothe over the transition to playing in red and being called the Dragons. What colour will you away kit be next season? Will they do away with blue alltogether and will they take the pi55 like they did last year and make you play in all white ?

All this bollox that has happened to your club would not be tolerated by our fans that's for sure. We wouldn't bend over and happily take it up the arris like your lot have.

History, don't make me laugh. Bluebirds RIP 2012, Red Dragons born 2012

Pretty sure it's the same club <doh>

Anyway, VT made his mind up long ago about the rebrand. Nothing could have been done. All too easy to say 'It wouldn't happen here!' but let's be honest, we would have said the same if it was another club.

I did forget to say that I genuinely feel for the decent Cardiff fans that are seeing their club used as a playthings for foreigners.

One decent lad I know has a bluebird tattoo. He tells me that he considers it a different club now and he will never forgive the owners for what they've done.

That's the majority of Cardiff fans over the age of 18.
