Morning, a few bets for me today. Musselburgh 2.40 UNCUT STONE 3/1 Ran well on handicap debut to finish 2nd over C+D LTO, can go well again here. Lingfield 1.50 MY BOY PADDY 3/1 Loves heavy ground and ran well LTO when 2nd N/R Lingfield 2.20 Tribal Dance 12/1 Visor refitted for first run for new stable, McCoy booked for the ride means the trainer means business as pair have a good S/R when teaming up.
Not much of a tip I know, but I've been told that POISONOUS should run into a place in the 1.20pm-ish at Deauville this afternoon. Currently 8/1.
Does any of the experts have a view on this Beau Sakhee in the 3.00 wolves? Ran over extended 5f yesterday and "stayed on", stepped up to extended mile today. G Gibbons rode the winner of that race yesterday and now takes over on BS today. 3 yo, so any improvement will be easily explained away. Also trained in Ireland, which adds to the allure.
Morning chaps, A mate of mine has just text me tipping Goring Two in the 2.50 at lingfield he is working at the owners farm and has been told that he fancies its chances today. Apparantly it won fairly easily at fontwell last time out. Its currently the 11-1 outsider with skybet.
Hey guys, hate putting up tips but been given Caledonia Prince in the first in Wolverhampton. hopefully itll be a gud un
How is it we can get a total of 119 runners at Wolves today but can't get more than 3 for the Dipper? The rescheduled race has now been abandoned due to lack of entries. Pathetic. http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/8379661/bha-scrap-rearranged-dipper
On a no play day for me the 3.10 at Musselburgh is a decent little race and I would be inclined to side with DOOR BOY 10/1 who would surely be too good if anywhere near his best. His 2nd to Chance De Roy at Haydock is the standout form of the field.
Makes me laugh when a commentator says "a likeable horse". As opposed to what? A complete twat of a horse?
If old boy Nass is still around re your trip to Wincanton tomorrow the most eyecatching entrant, to me, has to be Mr Gardner in the 21 furlong handicap chase (2.40). Formerly, with Mr Henderson he makes his debut tomorrow for Polly Gundry (she’s certainly no Mr Henderson but was an excellent P2P rider and knows one end of a horse from the other). Mr Gardner’s last race for the forum’s favourite trainer was the 2011 Jewson’s at the Festival. Rated 146 at that point he runs tomorrow off 135. If he’s retained his ability this is a more than fair mark given that in his 3 races prior to the Jewson’s he was a dual winner and Grade 1 placed behind Medermit and Captain Chris (beaten 7 lengths by both who are now rated 167 and 169 respectively). This isn’t a tip nor do I have a clue as to Mr Gardner’s current well being but if he’s anywhere near the level he was at for Mr Henderson back in 2010/11 then he’s gone to be an intriguing runner, most deffo off a perch of 135. Sporting Life are currently forecasting 20/1.
Pleasing comeback run from Good Order, happy with the e/w return. Will be winning races soon I reckon, just ran into a fitter, well handicapped beast today
