Say a man named Bob owed you a million quid. Would you rather he give it all to you today or pay you back in £1 increments over the next 5 years. I'm betting you want it all now. If you owed Bob and were not paying interest you would rather hang on to it as long as possible rather than give it all back immediately. £1 today is worth more than £1 next year. A) there is inflation. B) if you have money now you can invest it and have extra by next year. Makes more sense to pay him weekly rather than give it all in a lump sum now. Hang on to our money as long as possible.
Its happenin at United now with Bebe who are part paying his wages for loans at 1st Besiktas an Rio Ave
Jeez green_bay fudge packer, you know more than the entire written press sports hacks, Sky Sports and Liverpool Football Club.
If this is true I think we are being screwed. Personally if it is only going to save us £30k a week then I would rather keep him as a squad player and play him in that europa league matches and in matches against teams like Mansfield. I would be happy to see him go if West Ham were willing to pay his entire wages but not under these terms.
if we are paying 50k per week for 18 months then its as bad as feared but perhaps we will be recouping something somewhere in here with west ham paying us some small fee. I think ok its reasonable if you can get someone in on 40k per week!
if tom ince can get 40k per week ANYWHERE then i think he'd bite their hand off. like sigurdsson he's a 30k per week player max. I can't even see where he'd ge tinto the squad let alone first 11, until downing goes that is. front 3 will be sturridge suarez borini = a 46mil front line. our reserves are sterling assiadi and downing... not great is it
Relieved he's gone. Shame it didn't work out because he was quality once. He might do okay for West Ham with regular games.
So you think you will be relegated? Or are you just hoping to be relegated so you don't have to keep Carroll?
