To survive our precarious position we're going to need spirit. It is mentioned so often and many on here are critical of individuals and question their motivation. At times it's deserved but for some its a rut and they cannot then acknowledge positives.
Look at the bench and the way Cisse celebrates. That is not a man who does not care and is playing for himself. Look at the way the players celebrated with SWP at the time and post match. I will be the first to admit he has been poor but he has shown at times what he can do. He admitted post match a lack of confidence so hopefully he can press on. He is clearly well liked and needs support unlike our slag off SWP thread, sorry match thread. Twitter is littered with supportive messages from his fellow players. The spirit is coming and we need to play our part too.

Come on you rrrr's, lets hope this is our Liverpool game from last year!!! Together we can do it!

I noticed Cisse celebrating too, even Green raised a smile, the subs also came on and congratulated the players so that seems to be improving.

It's quite funny really because SWP has not been too impressive since he signed for us; but a little bit of 'Arry love and his goal tonight and hopefully he will score a few more.

Does everyone realise that we are only 4 points behind last years accumulated total after 21 games.

    11/12 season - 17 points after 21 games
    12/13 season - 13 points after 21 games

Maybe not mission impossible after all, if 'Arry can conjur some January Transfer 'Car' Window magic, we could be in for a fighting chance of survival come May.

    You RRRRRRRRRRRRR'ssss
