Keep coming fellas! I'm determined we catch up with Gillingham and Wycombe, the rest of the League 2 boards are deserted

You're very welcome loyalgull. Veteran Shrews 606ers will recall some of our memorable past exchanges - friendly with Daggers, feisty with Gills and spicey with Notts. And if we can put up with these Wobblers, I'm sure we'll be fine with a friendly Gull. Mind you, if Jakey gets fired up again on Saturday, we might have to review that ...

More than welcome on here Loyalgull, and I'm sure also in the Gills and Wycombe areas.
We could do with CurtisMFC popping over from 606 too, good sensible poster.

jake robinson has stated in our local rag that as we know he is eligible to play for us against you,and that if you beat us he is then eligible too play for you in the final, what a strange affair,of course if you get there he will have no chance but what a odd situation.Ticket sales are going good for our home game with you,but i dont see it being a complete sell out due too the match being so soon,i do assume though that you will sell out your allocation.Buckle spent monday replaying our shocking performance at rotherham on saturday to the players,he is not a happy bunny after that shambles of a game,i expect a better performance on saturday to that. For you folks going, very much like yourselves, trouble at our club is unheard of,so those going wanting a beer or three the boots and laces pub behind the main stand is friendly and safe, you will be welcomed and treated well by the locals, the snack bar in the ground aint great so ideal to grab something to eat before the game,a safe journey to you all going

FAO Jenny: Have you had a word with Jake Robinson ahead of this match? And this time, are you SURE he's going to do you a favour?
Can't wait to see what happens. If he plays a big role in putting Torquay through your club will be a laughing stock. Forgetting to put a clause in a promotion rival's loan signing. LOL

Yes, good lad is Curtis. And ShakenCity from the Bury board (it still wasn't Lowe's goal, Shaken, if you're out there!) I know Vicious is already on here.

Hello, newly arrived from 606! Re: LoyalGull, I'd be absolutley amazed if any of our paltry 1,100 odd allocation makes it onto general release as they will all be snapped up by season ticket holders. I've not got one this year for one reason or another and have been desperately been trying to find season ticket holders not going so I can borrow their tickets (1 per book). As it is I'm going to have to go in the home bit with a friend who lives down there (not AJ unfortunately) and sit on my hands! Re: Boots and Laces - went in there back in '99(???) when we rarely won, 3-0 in fact. Was ex-town forward Steve Kerrigan's stag do in Torquay that night and had a belting night round Torquay, eventually meeting up with a load of the town players past and present, Torquay players, and Rodney Jack (at Crewe by then). Had a drunken conversation with town left back Gareth Hanmer in a bus shelter about 3am - stuff dreams are made of. We were made very welcome and looking forward to Saturday :)

hi corkscrew, away fans in the home end is not uncommon,at our club or probably any club, but our stewards are under strict instructions to eject away fans proved to be that is in home facilities.Saying that fans of any clubs should be able to mix without fear of any trouble,as it used to be,long before the hooligan was invented, enjoy your day out at our friendly little club, but hopefully not the result lol

Cheers loyalgull.... I'll try not to make a squeak whatever happens! Its horrible, nearly as bad as not watching, but I want to be there and its possibly the only way. The lad I'm going with is a gull and we want to watch it together (not in a g@y way - not that there's owt wrong with that you understand!) so one of us has to go undercover!!! Hopefully I can get in with the town massive but its proving extremely unlikely!

I once sat with the Notts County fans at Gay Meadow. Only because I was late and the only gate open was in the away end. We won 2-0 and it felt strangely isolating watching Town fans celebrating Asamoah's goals in our stadium.

A County fan said something about how disappointing it was. I tried to look sympathetic in an "I'm sure it must be" sort of way, without for a moment wanting to look like I agreed. Had I known what was to come at Notts I might have done the Hughesy in front of him.

I brought a Brighton fan into the home crowd and he behaved himself - even though they beat us on pens, he disliked Grant Holt and it was Holty that missed!

i went in the argyle end at there place with my torquay shirt on,at halftime we were 3-1 up,i wasnt very popular to say the least,we ended up losing 4-3 which probably saved my bacon.I have missed one home game in 5 years, and yep the game we beat you 5-0 how ironic is that.We have strict stewards, the last time there was any trouble was wolves visit in the early 80s,since then nothing, its unheard of,enjoy the day
