Fwank looks like he will break Kerry Dixon's goal tally if he nets two (or more) against us tonight. I have long held the opinion that QPR have been everybody's patsy and if points are needed to break records, win titles, avoid relegation, become top scorer etc etc that we will gladly assist and roll over. I think we are looking at basketball scores tonight and if Lumphard can get the ball off of Torres he is bound to break records against us. Tomorrow might have to be a sickie because I'm not sure I can face the hordes of Scumbag supporters at work taking the piss! On a positive note; my New Year's Day lunch was lovely.
grove its 11 v 11 its just the fact they've a bit more quality than us, i'll be there along with a few thousand of Rs hoping for a turn of the tide & you never know, as long as we don't concede within a minute like last time there's hope & put there rookie gk under a bit of pressure, got to be positive.
You sure about this Jeff, from what I've been watching we aren't fielding 11 or others are sneaking a couple extra on the pitch
I've always felt that too. I remember John Jensen scoring his only ever goal for Arsenal against us. Even Torres notching a hat-trick last year. We're the ideal team to play if you desperately need a goal or a result (we even rolled over for City in the end.) I fully expect Lampard to score the two he needs tonight. Get some money on it
He'll score one in minute 93, but just to give them some consolation after our 1-3 win in the the regular 90 minutes
Funny you say that as I had always felt the same with us It's not often Lee Dixon and Nigel Winterburn score screamers against you Not to mention some of the PL's worse ever players I.e Andre Santos, Titus Bramble and Emile Heskey scoring on numerous occasions against us. I must admit you are right, Liverpool and City both won their last league titles with wins against you, always seems QPR is always a significant fixture at either the top or bottom end of the table
We also had Newcastle and West Brom pick up the championship trophy at our place in the two seasons before we won it, and we never had a celebration parade thanks to the Goons...
