No need to panic. Before the Wigan game, most posters on here were predicting no more than six points from the next six games. Win the next game, that's what we will have. As regard to Ruddy, we need to keep him.
We have to keep Ruddy I wouldn't dream of cashing in on him, first name on the sheet for me. I'm sure Bunn will blossom under Dave Watson's coaching but he really needs to sort out some of the mistakes his making, especially positioning, aerially and with handling the ball, you can be a great shot stopper but don't parry the ball out into the box. The other night one of my mates who is a Spurs fan who attends the odd Cobblers game smirked Mark Bunn's a great shot stopper and can kick a ball but he was blatantly taking the piss. Forward wise I would do a mass cull besides Holt I don't think we've got the quality up there.
Ruddy is without doubt our most important player. If everyones fit (including Holt) he's got to be the first name on the team sheet. Bunn is adequate cover and with Rudd & Steer in the pipeline Goal keeping and possibly centre back are probably the only 2 areas that we have sufficient quality in depth for an established premiership team. In all other areas we are deficient, although I think we're still good enough to avoid relegation and I suspect the final table won't be much different to what it is now. Anyway no need to worry, we never seem to have a good Christmas period.
