I reckon we'll struggle at Barnsley playing like that gash. Need wingers by then, we've only looked truly threatening this season with decent wing play.
As long as GFH aren't stupid they'll realise that, even though we won, the performance was dire and we do need new players, whatever way you look at it.
It's attacking flair, pace and strength we're lacking. We've got the back end, provided they have an outlet of players who are going to get forward well and hold onto the ball in the opposition half. Despite conceding more goals we're better at the back, we're just having to defend far more often because we've got nothing going forward.
Think Warnock needs to stick to a certain formation and buy players that agree with it. Of course, sign people who can come on and give us the opportunity to change things around, but if we're going 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 to 3-5-2 every week, it doesn't give the players the chance to settle into the system. I'm by no means an expert on tactics, but that surely can't be helping the defence, not knowing who's doing what job in front of them.
