After the last few games people were suggesting he could be Captain material. Well, he was an embarrassment today. Should really have received more than one yellow for falling over like he'd been shot whenever a Liverpool player came near him.

Yep,agree, but the whole team were embarrassing and just not good enough. Mackies,Derrys,Hill,SWP,ete, etc just are not in the same level.

Yeh he wasn't good, but he's probably owed one bad game after the recent performances. Nobody did well today..
Maybe his all-action 100% effort style means he comes a cropper when we play two games in close succession?
I was more disappointed with Diakite, he looked like a lost puppy

That's a very bad attitude to have Grifter with the greatest of respect. There can be no excuse for that kind of performance. He was trying to cheat his way through the game.
All his bluff and bluster before the game and I was taken in. Someone said he should just shut up and do his talking on the pitch and they were right.

Put him back at right back where he can actually play. I'd never let him near midfield again.

Fair points swords! The diving was very disappointing, he did it Vs Newcastle as well. I just wouldn't write him off yet...i think he'll be one of the ones who comes good <ok>

Hopefully mate. I'm not sure he's a CM though. He played a stormer at Old Trafford and that was at RB.

Totally right Swords. And there was me slagging of Bale with my mates before the game for diving and there was Mbia doing worse.

Doubted M'bia at first on the grounds of some bad press. Then took his twitter and fan stuff as a sign of something good coming through.

Last couple of games though, find I'm changing my mind again.

What's coming through to me is MR SILLY-BILLY! The persona of that kid in every infant and primary school class who's always playing the buffoon. All the facial expressions, arms thrown into the air and head and ground thumping that goes on every time he loses the ball - and out come MR SILLY-BILLY again.

So Stephane, does mummy know you're Rangers' MR SILLY-BILLY? Would she be cross if we told her?

Are you serious? he's one of the few to set one up(through pass to cisse) if we treat every player who gets an assist as a pariah it's no wonder the fickle have started giving up.

Christ, it was less than a week ago he created something, anything worth a mention.

It's the comment about not letting him play in midfield that surprised do you remember how his stint at the back ended? RED. he doesnt like it back there.

I think he's worth investing some time & support in when its clearly not deserved in others.

There's no question M'bia tries hard. Maybe too hard in fact. Needs to settle down and get his more simple game working. Wouldn't **** up so much and feel he has to let us know how bad he feels about it all. Thought professional meant keeping a cool head and let your training kick-in when things are going south...

Honestly, I thought we were debating his performance against Liverpool. We debated the WBA game already.

No it didn't. It ended with a (QPR) man of the match performance at Old Trafford. He was colossal.
Also, wasn't he a Central Defender at Arsenal? I'm talking about full back.

Rhino, you having an off day or summat?
