Thankfully Im not going to this one - the combined price of £55 and it being moved to Weds night put us off this year, but cant help thinking it is a blessing in disguise.

After seeing them smash Villa for 8, on todays showing we might not be far off that and perhaps a repeat of 6-1 like last year.

    Anyone from here going?

I will be watching on the internet, just hope we can put in a decent effort.

We can also play anyone on our books v Chelsea as the 25 man squad does not need to be named until the end of the month.

    So changes? Young? Campbell?

For once I'm glad I'm working that night. Unless Stamford Bridge burns down I won't be there. Last season was pure hell at that fixture. It was the first time in years that I left before 90 minutes. To be honest I'm expecting more of the same.

Reckon it'll be 1-0 them, we'll put a brick wall in front of goal and hope for counter attacks instead of pushing up and trying what we don't know how to do. At least that's what I would do, put 2 lines of 4 and 4 and hold the line at the back and catch them offside all day, and then pounce when we can on counter

On 2nd thoughts I may even put 5 back there and hold it

I'm going. Have great memories of the late great Alan McDonald scoring a header and Michael Robinson scoring from half way. Magic. Just mentioning Alan Mac makes me proud to be a QPR fan. He always played with such commitment something sadly missing with this lot. It may take time but these type of players will return. QPR has has always been a club of inspirational players mixed with grafters I.e Martin Allen and John Byrne.
Although we will get beaten on Wednesday we must still be proud of who we are and where we have come from. The good days will return.

    Yappy

Not sure we could create such a wall with the current squad. Maybe a small hedge or a shrubbery.

As for a back 5. Now you've lost me completely.

    I am going.

Even after yesterday... I still have have hope of beating the scum at hope. The point of football is that it is a funny old game, and on any given Wednesday night, and it is a new year, and I'll wear something lucky and... anyway I'm going.
