As a Liverpool fan, please take him. His wages are very annoying and draining and to be honest, I would be amazed if you took him at anywhere near what we currently pay him. If he does go to you, I suspect we'll subsidise his wages somewhat just to get most of his wages off the wage bill here. Massive disappointment for us but he might do better someone else. (Actually, he has to do better than he has at Liverpool...)

A player we don't need, we have enough attacking midfielders like Taarabt, Faurlin, Granero, SWP and even Mbia who seems to be playing further up the pitch with each game. Mind you, if he does come and makes a contribution in saving us, I will gladly eat humble pie.
He cant do any worse than the bunch of muppets we have now, so why not on loan? harry knows him and can hopefully get the best out of him. I will give him a chance for sure.
On the basis that he cannot possibly be worse than some of what we have got, then why not ? Let's face it, there cannot be many PL players desperate to play for us (including it seems, some we have already signed). Perhaps we should look to see if there are any hungry Championship players who fancy a crack at the PL and increasing their stock value by putting in some decent performances.

My god he isn't the solution to your problems. He's been better for us recently but not good enough consistantly, and will not be able to shoulder the several burdens at your club. Know doubt we'll pay a load of his wages just to add insult to his exceptionally poor return for 90k a week he's been at us. I actually like the guy, but I can't look beyond the money he's making out of us.
Totally agree, plenty would jump at the chance. What does it matter if we are basically down anyway. Also get the kids involved.
