I think it wouldn't be so bad if he said that with more performances like that, we are bowing out of the PL rapidly.
I remember MH kept telling us we'd be fine...but while I had absolutely no faith in MH, I still think 'arry has a trick or two up his sleeve. However, on today's evidence I don't know how one or two players will make a difference?!
He wants money, money, money....thats what he's good at. You think you've got a large useless bunch now, just wait till Feb!
I'm still waiting for the interview on QPR player. Last week his BBC interview was pretty mild mannered...yet he tore the players apart in the one on the offish. I don't think we'll survive, but i imagine the second half of the season will be less abject than this. We've got a better manager, and i'm sure he'll improve us in one or two positions over January. Even just having DJ back is likely to make the next 18 games a little more tolerable
What exactly can he say, "**** the league, can't be arsed anymore, no January transfers, Championship for us".
At least that would be honesty. Although in that interview he said 'I have 2 friends coming' and then went off on something else. Reckon he knows something we don't.
Well, after the most incredibly negative substitutions and ending the game with 5 at the back, he may as well have!! He obviously was trying to protect our goal difference, but I hated us not at least going for it. Harry had a mare today!!
DJ this DJ that, I keep hearing DJ's name all over the place but I'm telling ya, if we can't get the ball up front, it doesn't matter who's up there, does it? DJ won't bring us anything more than the lot we've got.
other teams, even crap ones get 4 in the box and things happen, we only ever have one in the box so its not surprising we hardly score at all.
Thats what we thought, then he signed Henri Camara on loan from Wolves for 30k a week, and bought Nigel Quashie for £2million from Pompey. To top it all off he then also signed Callum Davenport and Oliver Bernard.
From press conference Harry does not know now if he will bring anyone in. Some sad faces around not up for the fight. Boswinga been injured since he was made sub. Cannot blame the effort from players like Hill and Neilsen. Sometimes its just down to class and we were simply outdone by a world class striker. Still has to believe we will stay up. Some players inherited simply not good enough and cannot shake a magic wand http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/showthread.php?153948-Quick-Points-From-Press-Conference
The sad part, is that when arry arrived, them 3 draws seem to have ruined any chances you had of staying up, as performance wise you deserved to win those games, (and if you had some luck) you would still be in with a great shout, regardless of the defeats agaisnt west brom & liverpool. Its disappointing (even as a non QPR fan) as I have a lot of time for Redknapp and believed he could pull it off, yet maybe there is just too much pressure on this squad, and just a lack of quality in defence and I would say the only consolation, is that If Redknapp wants the job for the next 3 years and your chairman backs him, and the fans, then even if you go down, you can return better prepared and have in charge a manager that will provide you with the basis of a team to stay in this division. Anyhow, you have 18 games, 54 points left to play for, and realistically the teams above you (that will survive or be in the bottom 3) will pick up a maximum of 18-20 more points. So I can see where Arry is coming from, its not over, its just a desperate situation and you just have to hope he can sign players of the same standard and impact as he did with Portsmouth.
It could have been six or seven if he hadn't made that sub. Also, symbolically he was saying to Cisse you are not trying hard enough. I am happy with that
You're right, Col. Bizarre when the manager makes changes after 45 minutes to protect a 0-3 loss! Liverpool must have been bemused, seeing us bring on defenders to protect our position.
