Cant run now. But have been walking a lot longer than yourself Gangsta. Seen all this euphoria before, been part of it.
I think the attitude of players in the Premier League is better than the Championship because they have worked hard to be there.
It's a gap that could be closed within a month, but which position would you rather be in? What I like about our position is it's in our hands, you have to rely on us or Cardiff cocking it up.
Nope, things are still in our hands. If we will all 21 games we will win the league. That simple. Miles too early for teams to rely on others
I don't mind at all your prediction that we'll fall short, as the day people stop writing us off will probably be the day we get relegated to League One. Although I'm curious why you think we'll fall away. From my yellow-tinted perspective, we play a system which other teams can't work out how to handle, and have depth in just about every position. Admittedly we have two extremely young players in our starting lineup (Nathaniel Chalobah and Tommie Hoban), but the second they start to struggle we have the choice of multiple proven Championship players in each position (Lloyd Doyley or Nyron Nosworthy at centre back, John Eustace, Mark Yeates or Sean Murray in midfield). We have a striker who has scored 12 goals in 13 league starts, and another striker on 10 goals despite spending June, July and August in prison, with decent backup if needed. Because we play wing backs, we have the choice of pacey wingers who know they have to do the dirty work well if they want to stay in the team, natural full backs who know that if they don't get forward enough they might not play again, and a couple of players who have been wing backs for years. And at central midfield and centre back we have the players I've just mentioned desperate for playing time.
Who was the player in prison? And what for? Watford are my Championship team in this fantasy football picks thing we do, so I had some pre-season faith and hope you do well
Its because most of us know very little about your players so we cant judge them. When we see your team there is no obvious quality so you dont get the respect you deserve
Troy Deeney: kicked a guy in the head while he was laying on the ground, during a drunken brawl. Should have served longer than he did if I'm completely honest, but an in-form striker all the same.
Interesting, did not know that! How is Forestieri getting on for you? I've always rated him, since I signed him once on FM and did well for me ha always thought he was a good little player, I believe he scored against us this season?
Forestieri is doing fairly well, now that he has realised that pretending to be shot won't get you many decisions in this league. Has scored a couple of crackers, but his pace, unpredictable movement and ability to create are keeping him in the team, rather than goal threat.
Thats not going to happen. No one will win even 15 of the 21. There is too many points to play for, for people to say that we have to rely on others
I don't think Watford have the strength in depth, the manager or the squad to continue their fine run well enough to finish in the top 6. Fair play you're having a class time at the moment, 1 point behind us with a game in hand. But I think that one or two teams outside the top 6 will click into gear and come May I think there'll be a decent gap both between 1st and 2nd and 6th and 7th. I reckon Forest will do alright, annoyingly and I also think Leeds will get a couple of decent signings in January. Between those two for 6th spot for me.
Can't agree about Forest, don't see them doing well, don't rate McLeish to be honest. (Famous last words)
Do you know what the term means? If you win all your games, us and Cardiff could still go up automatically. It's like saying if Man City win all remaining games they'll win the league, you'd almost certainly be correct, but it's not in their own hands, only Man Utd have it in their own hands.
