Me, I said Bruce was over-rated, expensive and played dull football. I also said Warnock was the right man to get leeds out of this league, but I meant out of the top not the bottom.
I have never been wrong. There was this one time I thought I was wrong but it turned out I was only mistaken.
I started too think I was wrong about Paul Mcshane, but I was not - he still has much to offer. I though Nick Barmby knew the score; he did not. He forgot he was a very highly paid manager and not an overpaid footballer - a shame, but daft lad all the same. I thought Hull (the city) had ambition; has it ****; at least not with it's current political leaders.
That way of saying that seems very american - it was distinctive in Americam Pie (the geeky musician nympho). How's your project going?
Now that you mention it I can not remember if that was a saying before the movie. It is certainly something people say now. The realtor said everything is going fine. I think I put the offer on the place in November so that means it could still take another 6 months. I am still looking at other farms in the meantime. After my last adventure trying to go over a mountain pass I have decided to stay in the valley. They have had 30 feet over 6,000 feet from what I understand and it is snowing above 5,000 feet just about every day. That also puts my gold panning to bed as well since I gold pan at about 5,500 feet. Did you get my email?
I've probably been wrong more than I care to remember. I thought Bruce (Alex) would be ****, though that was based on what the Leeds fans said so I really should have known better. I thought we'd sign someone back in January. Here's a time where I wasn't wrong though: Thread from Euro 2012. Everyone was incensed that I didn't buy into all the hype about Germany and particularly that I said players like Podolski aren't much better than what we've got, and made a comparison with Walcott (just because he's English and they both play for the same club in similar positions). Turns out Walcott has been miles better than him this season. Like I said in that thread, it's one thing doing it in a nancy league, but it's a bit harder over here.
When NB was sacked I said it was a master stroke by the Allams and we might be dancing in the east stand at the end of the season if we go up.. I was wrong I should have said when we DO go up..
Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort and hope eternal! Sounds great on the location front, not too great on the weather front; but they kind of go hand-in-hand! Keep plugging at it and dreams come true! No email, but in a state of flux at the minute swithing providers - sent me a PM on here if you wish.
Struggling to think of something for this, as my main point on this board has always been that the club would be better off without the Pearsons and Barmby...
Never went to any camp. I did see the movie Earnest goes to camp. Does that count? Since I am a dude and I clearly wanted to be unique like every other guy on the planet I played the guitar. In hindsight I should have learned the drums as a drummer is always in demand.
I'll admit I didn't actually want Steve Bruce to become manager. I didn't look into it enough on my part though, I based my opinion on what he did at Sunderland, however unfortunate he may have been when having to cope after your two top strikers **** off. I also said Nigel Pearson would be sacked by now...
I assumed people would give Alex Bruce, Steve Bruce, Meyler and Prossy more time to prove their worth to city - I think I've been proved right with everyone except Prossy - I'm still hopeful though!!!
Seconded. But my concerns with Steve Bruce were about his old school type training methods which have changed it appears. Glad to be wrong on this issue. Agreed. I still think that Pearson will pay the price if LESTA DONT GO UP THIS SEASON THOUGH.
