Once again SB stated how frustrated he was by the number of missed opportunities.

I would be absolutely astounded if he doesn't sign a striker either on loan or on permanent in Jan.

Burnsie asked him directly about Fraizer Campbell and Bruce virtually admitted he'll be on the phone to MON first thing on the morning of Jan 1st. He did say, however that he has no idea whether a deal can be struck or not. He also said something similar about Danny Graham, so I reckon he is number 2 on his list.

Also, he was asked about Meyler and Brady and for once Burnsie asked the correct question: Will you be looking to sign Meyler and Brady on permanent contracts in January. SB said he didn't really like discussing other clubs players but if permanent deals could be done he would love to do it.

For once it now looks like we have confirmation that this is going to be the strategy

I think it's a breath of fresh air to finally have owners and a manager who are willing to open up the fans so we know whats going on, it's great that we're looking at areas that DO need strengthening instead of the usual bollocks of signing a player we don't need....plus we're looking at reasonable targets unlike that whole 15million signing from Real Madrid that never happened

The man mentioned he gave some players a "Bollocking" on the radio. He's such a breath of fresh air, doesn't tone things down and tells us exactly what happens. I'm so proud of the club right now. If we could get Danny Graham for £2million, I'd be bloody ecstatic. Doubt it'd happen mind.

SB just says it as it is, never seems to evade questions, Burnsey really enjoys interviewing him. Long may it continue.

Burnsey looks to have sussed out the need for sensible questions......producing informative answers.

I think if we were to sign Graham we would need to match what they paid for him.....£3.5m

is £3.5 mill so outrageous? true i reckon its close to the upper limit i would expect to see us pay for a player but if it gets us up it will be a bargain

My only fear about signing someone like danny graham is how it would change our style. Swansea's goal mainly came from him, which can be a good thing but I like the fact that our goals are coming from all over the park...

I don't want us to suddenly become a team that plays like "just pass to danny and hope he scores".

But of course one doesn't have to cancel the other one out...hopefully.

Anyways... I LOVE STEVE BRUCE. I cannot understate that. I hope we go up and he shows how good he is where he belongs, as a prem manager.

I think the general consensus is that he won't be able to play anyway, he's already played for Southampton and Forest and can't play for anybody else until next season.
